Oh I want more! I have long-adored Mr. Grammer. His brilliance as an actor, both comedic & dramatic. His profoundly beautiful, speaking voice; so alluring, soothing, comforting. His wise, warm, witty character. A polite gentleman of taste. Such class. Truly the perfect word to describe him. "Class." Pure... Class.💕

Kelsey seems like such a lovely man. I love watching him on film or television - he’s got such a dignified and easy presence about him.
Following along this video, and looking up his grandmother on Family Search, Kelsey and I are distant cousins through his grandmother, Genevieve. ♥️

I've done a lot of research on Kelsey Grammer because I love his career, though spotted with tragedy, it is also blasting with victory. He went to school not far from where I live, so when he speaks ad lib, I can relate a lot to where/what he is talking about. He is SUCH a blessing. God bless you Kelsey and family. You have earned every victory you have gathered.

Because of this show, I have taken up the search for lost family and have been able to put my tree together all the way back to the third wave of Colonists and back further to the 1400's in Amsterdam! Thank you for the inspiration!

Fascinating!!
He has the most beautiful male voice...and it doesn't help I adore FRASIER, refusing to see him in any other dimension! Guess that's how you live forever...
My mom started doing genealogy in 1984. Luckily my maternal great grandparents were still alive. They were a great help with family names and where they live/died. My mom has gotten both sides of our family back to before they came to the colonies. Her family and my dad's family were here in the colonies at least 100 years before the American Revolution. My dad has an ancestor who served under George Washington. We aren't sure if it was directly or not but pretty sure they knew each other.
Great actor, he has been a blessing.
This story did not disappoint. This was a beautiful and sad one. I have always loved Kelsey Grammer. Thankyou sir for sharing your story.
Oh, Kelsey Grammer... How i love your voice ❤️
I was named after kelsey grammer no joke
Wow!! I have the utmost respect for you I will never look at cheers or Frasier the same. You are brilliant. Cheers to you my brother!! Thank you my heart goes out to you and Kelsey. I TOO WILL MISS HER. THANK YOU THANK YOU. God be with you always. Donny
I've always thought it was spooky how much Kelsey Grammer and David Hyde Pierce look as though they could be brothers in real life. There are photos here of Kelsey as a young man and he looks rather like David Hyde Pierce.

That was deliberate, the brief was for someone who was like Frasier but “more” i.e. with exaggerated eccentricities.
My husband's family followed a similar path as Kelsey's grandmother's family. My mother in law was raised by a single mother during the 30s because her husband was a raging alcoholic. Sadly, Kelsey's sister was murdered.

Love you Kelsey!, you are just incredible
If Kelsey Grammer should read this, there is a "Dimmick Inn" located in Pennsylvania, and as your kin came from the East Coast (Connecticut I believe is what was stated) this could lead you to another branch on your tree. I really enjoyed the process you went through, though you are much further into your exploration than I have been able to achieve. My Father was an alcoholic, and I think most of us, his children, wished he would have abandoned us and Mom, but who knows, sometimes better the devil you know.
Kelsey Grammer is an amazing actor
He looks like his grandmother ❤
I just love Kelsey Grammer. This is great!
This is cool. My Dad’s middle name was Ellis and I never saw anyone else by that name. 😊
Thank you 😁👍😁
It seems a lot of us have very similar lives.

He's amazing!
Very cool!
I wonder why they didn't go back more to see who his grandmother was married to, such as the Census in 1905.
Odd that the researcher didn't suggest he get granny's birth & marriage certificates for parents names.

I thought the same thing.
He labelled Ellis a Louse. Seems to me Ellis married Genevieve so her child wasn't born out of wedlock, especially if the math works out that he married her while pregnant. The 8 years until the divorce may well have been to maintain the legal/social protection for the child. Just saying. He gave the child a name, which mattered in that day.
Kelsey Grammer Is My Buddy ☺❤I Love Him. Kelsey And I Are Friends Now. He's The Greatest Man
I love Kelsey so much. He is a good man. I feel his pain.
The accusations against Ellis are suspect. The idea that Genoveve wasn't Ellis's daughter never even occurred to either party. The offspring might have been that o another man and that might be the reason for Ellis leaving. I am not saying it is the reason,I am saying it maybe the reason. No one knows. So don't dumon the dead guy unless you know. Speculation isn't knowing. The is a reason why judaism follows. Maternal line. You always know who the mother is, not so with the father.

Yup. Also, do we know if Genevieve was a good woman to live with. A nag is an awful mate. Since Grandmother be ever mentioned her, it does not cast a good light on her
Also his starring roles in Star Trek the Next Generation.
8:12 Ellis Dimmick? So his name could have been called out as "Ellis D."?

I didn’t know he had grandchildren already kool
I hope they know we look for them.
I was searching my family tree and discovered Kelsey Grammer is my 11 th cousin on my mother's side. His father and my mother are direct descendants of Lt Samuel Fellmonger III and Elizabeth Van Vechten. Evangeline Dimmick is my 10th cousin on my mother's side the Huckabay's. They are direct descendents of Rev Henry Robinson and Elizabeth Orvice.
My brother in law looks so much like him 😂.
So where us the rest of it?
Question: Does Kelsey have the same roots as Sideshow Bob (Terwilliger)?

I’m surprised they didn’t go back to their European roots. They don’t mention which country they came from.
I don't know nothing about both sides of my family except for the Lee's..... I know that I'm related to General Lee and Jefferson Davis but he is related to George Washington,he married his step granddaughter

And she's better off without his cheating ways. There's always two sides to every story.
I know who I am but I have no clue who most of my family are. I have no clue who my mother is, I have no clue who any of my grandparents are, have never met any aunts uncles cousins or anything like that. As for my father I never had a good relationship with him either and he never cared to fill in any of the blanks. The whole family thing has always been this alien world to me, it was something everybody else did. I'm in my 60's now and I find the older I get the less I care about digging into any of that. Most of it is dead and buried now and it's probably best to leave it buried.
The lady assistant put me to sleep. She always looks so depressed.
Didn't Kelsey Grammer also desert his wife and child for his current wife ? Yet, he judges his great-grandfather who deserted his wife.

I’m an author and an editor. My sister and I would be correct if it’s in the subjective part of the sentence. In the predicate part, it’s my sister and me. If you can take away the other person and leave me and it makes sense, then it’s “and me”. In this case , it is in the predicate, so it’s “raising my sister and me”. You would never say “raising I”.
