me personally i wouldnt sweat the " auto-resolve" question. its your game, play it the way that tickles your smile button.

I use auto-resolve most of the time, I only manually play battles that are close in power or are very important

I really am surprised that Bitt3r plays Warhammer. The strategy game variety is great, and its nice to see other games sometimes. Also does he know about the ridiculous amount of cheese you can commit in this game?

Yes and the lightning orb he can summon is one of the best ape damage spells that is especially good against armoured units, which he will fight a lot eventually: black orcs and chaos

A) LOVING that I got to see Bitt3rSteel play TW:WH3 B) While I love seeing the full battles, your reasons to use(abuse) the auto resolve mechanic are valid and fine. Do what works for you and lets you enjoy the game! C) I'd love to see you try and tackle the endgame crisis.

Iirc vlad can stack so many bonuses to recovery time that he just comes back immediately if defeated in battle, and necromancers can just instantly summon armies from battle fields

Unless they've buffed it since Total War Warhammer I it's way too slow and doesn't do much more damage then plenty of other spells.

Comet is good IF you have your hero/lord/single entity to tank a lot of infantries. Other than that, it took ages to cast it.

@@JohnSmith-zl1tr with an overcast it can turn pretty much anything with less than 40% magic resist to paste, its great at wiping out infantry

@@aeriawindsor4722 its pretty easy since its current cast is about 5 seconds if you can just distract them shortly you can wipe em out

I have to tell you, because it's killing me, there is a button that you can click that puts a unit into "Skirmish" stance, which makes them run away when another unit gets close. You still have to babysit them a BIT to make sure they don't just run into other enemy units, but it's excellent for units that can fire while moving, like your horseback grenadiers and Free Company bois. It allows you to take your eyes off them for two seconds while you fix something else if you need to.

Had to watch this, i keep getting my ass blasted by vampire

you can actually set very hard battle difficulty but then reduce the AI cheats manually in the difficulty settings after you start the campaign this will theoretically make the enemy ai slightly smarter but I didn't see much difference

Blasphemy he didnt took rootmarcher as his first skillpoint ,its just an unwritten rule to take it first it is like using slow medium tankdevisions. But play as you like most

In all honesty, the Routemarcher skill is negligible in WH3, especially when most of your damage would be coming from Franz's army anyways. If it were the same bonus as WH2, then yeah, get it first thing. As Franz though, you don't need it as much, you just need to improve your armies so they take less damage.

They nerfed it to 5%, it's not 100% necessary now.

25:52 wait why aren't you using deathclaw? Or the griffin on boris? I understand not using the horse or the pegasus but that mount is essentially what makes those lords *good*. specially in wh3 where you can tell them to land if being in the air would make them vulnerable also(unrequested advice if you want) when enemies are engaged in your frontline, it's worth trying to move your ranged(specially grenade launchers) to the side to they have essentially a free shooting gallery

The mount gives the lord and hero a bigger profile. And they'll be able to hit by more enemy models, while blocking more of my own shots. I think.

@@Bitt3rSteel you are correct in theory. but from experience infantry will deal no meaningful damage to them, unless you send him alone vs anti large. even then you have the mass(and flying) to escape the real concern with big single entities is ranged fire and like, that mount gives terror(or at least fear, I can't recall) and you get so much hp and so much damage, utility and mobility that offsets any of the drawbacks it could give if wed put on a tier list it's like giving him one or even two tiers just with the mount (in my experience you're right if it's just a horse for a meele lord tho) edit: as for blocking your own shots it's only an issue if you're between the enemy and the ranged karl should be charging infantry from behind, then being in the middle the enemy, meaning your shots will hit the enemy first, or disrupting enemy ranged units or destroying lords and heroes. cuz with deathclaw and ghal maraz he's hitting for 1k dmg per swing

I auto resolve a lot too. You fight so many fights, especially annoying ones, might as well keep the fun and time by autoing

While i personally dont want to give money to CA, its good to see you diversify your channel. But i dont want Warhammer to be a focus, would be great to see other games and mods, surviving and thriving in Medieval 2, or even in Empire as janky as it is.

Just fighting the end game crisis is easy breezy. No you must do Ultimate Crisis mode with the multiplier at min 500 in around 50 turns. If you can survive that, I would genuinely be impressed.
