same - i understand they’re trying to catch the whole short form content wave but it feels like a trailer than an actual clip from the show.

So their innovation was creating games that allowed 4 groups work through a game, one after the other in the same time frame as one group. Neat, helps them make more money by having more bookings in a day. Until that group ahead of yours is stuck, whilst you've been clever or got lucky and are stuck waiting for them to proceed, like in a minigolf round. Perhaps they have systems in the game to bypass stuck teams ahead of you. But it does seem to detract from the experience on paper.

Escape rooms have time limits to solve a problem or they lose i reckon.. let's say 5 mins time limit max in some rooms and then 2-3 mins for the staff to rearrange everything for the next group. Add some stalling activities like "watch this video first". The wait for guests that solve everything fast could be a bit long yeah unless they don't need to enter rooms in order but the first room that's free and haven't solved yet. R2->R3->R1 instead of R1->R2->R3

These guys are based in Canterbury in a tiny little building hidden away in a trashy run down retail park. Their escape rooms are disappointing quite frankly. I went to one and despite being told it would last an hour we were out within 25 minutes. Other people I’ve spoken to in this town have also said how underwhelming the experience is.

I worked for them once. Worst job/bosses ive ever had. Total clowns.

I can’t speak about escape rooms across the pond, but in the states I feel they are slowly disappearing and I cant see a comeback for them in the future. Flash in the pan type thing, although quite enjoyable.

Agree, unless it’s in a busy tourist hub and they can alter the themes to whatever is the latest trend, there is no way this business stays around.

I moved to the States last year from the Uk and the students love the escape room in my city but only at Halloween. It’s too seasonal. Can’t see people caring for this in the summer.

Gotta love Sara Davis my most favourite nicest Dragons.

They probably can, but why would you? Its just another passing craze.
