My father was just in the hospital for a few days due to diverticulitis w/abscess'. I was looking for videos to help me get a grasp of what exactly that meant/entailed. He is home now, and still working towards a full recovery. Thank you for posting this video. I was happy to see the upload date was from just last month. Thanks again.

What was his healing like? I had an abscess and perforation. Hospitalized with antibiotics and now been home for a week.

I just had this operation on 4th January 2021, now I'm still recovering and almost healed up it was so painful and had to drain the abscess on top of my colon

Is it painful,,, Fuck Yes! But ive got no fever no throwing up go figure.

Same. I had nausea but not throwing up and never a fever. Just intense pain.

I had this pocket abscess in my Colon with drainage for 20ty days. But now my belly is so sensitive and have to hold my belly to even walk. Also Peeing hurts, and can't push the pee out or it will hurt, so it is a slow drizzle. It has been 3 days since the drainage tube was removed. is this all Normal to feel so Sore? Can anyone help with these Questions? Thank you!
