Can Creatine Cut Cancer Cells?

Спорт

Can creatine reduce your risk of cancer? According to a new study published in the Journal of Functional Foods, the answer could be yes. One of the most extensively studied supplements, creatine is well-known for enhancing muscle strength, endurance, and lean muscle mass. Over 1,500 studies have confirmed the safety and efficacy of creatine in various populations, from elite athletes to the general public.
Despite its proven benefits, creatine has been surrounded by misconceptions, particularly on the internet and social media, where some have claimed it could increase cancer risk. However, this recent study aimed to investigate the potential link between creatine consumption and cancer risk for the first time.
Researchers analyzed data from over 7,000 participants, examining their cancer status and dietary records. The findings were significant. Individuals consuming the lowest amount of dietary creatine-about 10.6 mg per kg of body weight, or approximately 870 mg per day for a 180-pound person-had the highest cancer risk. Conversely, those consuming the highest amount of creatine-19.8 mg per kg of body weight, or around 1,600 mg per day for a 180-pound person-had the lowest cancer risk. Interestingly, for every additional 1 mg of creatine per kg of body weight consumed, the cancer risk was reduced by 1%.
While this study has some limitations, such as the reliance on self-reported food records and the exclusion of individuals supplementing with creatine, it provides compelling evidence that dietary creatine not only doesn’t increase cancer risk but may actually reduce it.
So, if you've been worried about taking creatine due to misleading information, this study offers reassuring evidence of its safety and potential cancer risk reduction benefits. Keep an eye out for future research, but for now, it seems creatine is not only safe but also beneficial in reducing cancer risk.

A word to the wise, creatine can have a negative affect on blood pressure if you suffer from high blood pressure. Also, never never never do that loading phase. Overkill, more dangerous, and unnecessary. Utilize supplements. Utilize them for your own needs and optimization. Don’t blast a bunch of stuff. Utilize these things for, optimization of health and wellness and vitality.

I use to take creatine wrong like an idiot in high school because nobody knew anything about sport science. They’d coerce cutting water weight while consuming creatine. Don’t listen to the guy below in the comments. I load 30grams of creatine no problem, you just have to consume it properly with high water volume intakes. Even when not loading I take 10g daily as mandatory with a ton of water. High volume water intake reduces inflammation, another bonus to the equation. You need to drink lots of water. I drink over a Gal a day on training days easy. You drink water to live, you don’t drink metropolis expectations. Drink the dam water. Creatine heals guy mucosal layers; Drink the dam water. I prefer the blends mixed with Subtillis strains if you have a problem with sulfur dragon butt. Creatine has a whole host of other health benefits; reap the rewards. You’ll have to adapt to the piss. Your body will adapt after about a week, if I’m not mistaken, but don’t stop drinking the water or you’ll have to re-adapt. Replenish your minerals, protect your heart 🔋🫀. Thank you for the valuable insight information 👏🏻👍🏻

Why do you comment on some new studies but refuse to acknowledge the new studies on the harmful effects of sucralose?

If you go to the stronger by science website, they wrote a very good article on creatine and hair loss. Short answer is no. The study that people cite is being misrepresented. There’s no evidence that it causes hair loss, and there’s good reason to believe that it does not.
