If 200 = 1 year, China is 50 years old, and the US is 1 year old. China is very tolerant of and patient with the US. China is humanity's giant. God bless China, the peacemaker.

. China MUST NOT see this as a competition between nations. She should draft a course of action distinctly it’s own hopes desires and designs and march towards that goal. Competition is a annual or deciduous thing. It can not be killed off completely so why compete with it when we can simply allow nature to grow on it own as we grow on our own with nature? .

China aerospace keep steady pace on progress - check their records. Space station, Moon and Mars exploration projects - smoothly follow the road map they set out decades ago. No doubt their will meet their land their astronauts on the Moon as they planned.

guy is stupid if he think of mining in space to bring the resource back to the earth, the guest is being too nice for not breaking out into a laughter for such a silly question. resources are more valuable in space than on earth, it would be as stupid as shipping sand to a desert. obiviously you want to keep the sand where there is little sand. the goal is to build an independent space economy so we don't have to keep sending spareparts into space. we need to really talk about the space economy, it seem too many people are clueless as to what will happen despite the economic is very easy to understand.

The question is what is their plan? If it is just a trip of going there, grab some rocks, take a picture, then it is easy. If it is the first step of a sustained program, it is a different story.

OF COURSE, BUT IS IT NEEDED? IF THERE IS A REAL BENEFIT, ONE CAN DO THAT... US DID IT JUST TO SCORE OFF OF RUSSIAN SPACE SUCCESSES... WELL, CHINA SQUANDERED A LOT OF ITS WEALTH ON TROPHY PROJECT.. LIKE THOSE MILLIONS OF HOUSES WHICH STAND EMPTY, OR ITS HIGH SPEED RAIL NETWORK WHICH WON'T BREAK EVEN UNTIL THE YEAR 2500 OR SO... SO IT MAY EVEN DO IT..
