It doesn't matter if they can understand or not at that age. First you must at LEAST mildly substantiate your philosophical underpinning or justification for claiming there is even anything for the child to be incorrect or correct about. You must first show it's even remotely possible before you can ask if the child is ok to decide it lol. After that, if it's shown to be an accurate description of the child then it's still no ... They're children they can't legally consent. And that's backed up by almost universal morals as far as the innocence and naivety of children is concerned. It's an indefensible position to suggest the most extreme transformation or interference in natural development can be consented to by a child. An adult is free to change their physical appearance but if truth is the objective of the discussion then they are still incorrect in their assessment of the truth. You can't just claim reproductive biology is wrong and demand I re-categories without showing your position is at the very least not propeller hat lunacy. And claiming mammalian reproductive biology is not a binary is utter lunacy.... And needs to be refuted before any discussion about the so called nuances of the topic... And absolutely has to be shown BEFORE consent for children can even be entertained... Wow.

It's actually hard watching every single person struggle to dance around the very obvious answer they know but don't want to say.... For 2 reasons... 1: the obvious fear .. And the often forgotten but very important point... 2: lying, pretending to not get it to avoid exposing their errors. Not admitting recognised contradiction or error on purpose with a smirk and deflecting... Is lying.

8:06 Children should always have their gender identity affirmed? Uh... no. In which age do children exist? One problem is that even people who are adults now days can be very immature, overly emotional, intellectually & physically stunted and inexperienced (for a number of reasons). Even physically, our population is suffering from major problems with developing proper hormone levels and physical health.

8:19 If they are already in public or on camera, they are already likely too self-conscious to be totally honest. This can come in the form of self-censorship or general fear of letting others know your true feelings or beliefs. This is why journalists sometimes protect peoples' identity so there's no backlash.

sex: the state of being either male or female in most species of metazoans. In humans, each cell nucleus contains 23 pairs of chromosomes, a total of 46 chromosomes. The first 22 pairs are called autosomes. Autosomes are homologous chromosomes, that is, chromosomes that contain the same genes (regions of DNA) in the same order along their chromosomal arms. The 23rd pair of chromosomes are called allosomes (sex chromosomes). These consist of two X chromosomes in most all females, and an X chromosome and a Y chromosome in most all males. Females, therefore, have 23 homologous chromosome pairs, while males have 22. The X and Y chromosomes have small regions of homology called pseudoautosomal regions. The X chromosome is always present as the 23rd chromosome in the ovum, while either an X or Y chromosome may be present in an individual spermatozoon cell gamete. An extremely minute percentage of humans are either (anatomical) hermaphrodites or of indeterminate sex (or to be more accurate, disordered sex). That does not negate the incontrovertible FACT that there are but two sexes/genders. In order for reproduction to take place, there is the requirement of a female ovum and a male sperm to unite, and because the entire purpose of the gender/sex division of most species of animals is to enable procreation, the sexual identity of an individual is best classified according to the gametes produced by the individual in question. There is no third gamete. Cf. “gender”. Both terms (“gender” and “sex”) originate from Latin words: “genus” (meaning “begin”; “birth”; “kind”; “race”; “gender”) and “sexus” (meaning “sex”; “division”; “gender”). If the reader is curious to know the reason for this term being included in the glossary of “F.I.S.H” (apart from the fact that it is actually used in a handful of chapters), it is because, in recent times, LEFTISTS have been desperately trying to change the meaning of the words “sex” and “gender”, in order to serve their immensely-perverse agenda to destroy civil society with their hateful, wicked, immoral ideologies, especially by promoting the nonsensical idea that a person is able to transition from one gender to the other. gender: the state of being either male or female, and because the entire purpose of the gender/sex division in most species of animal life is to facilitate procreation, the sexual identity of an individual is best classified according to the gametes produced by the person in question. There is no extant third gamete. An extremely minute percentage of humans are either “intersex” (typically referring to those who are anatomical hermaphrodites) or of indeterminate gender (that is, not easily determined by a cursory inspection of the external genitalia), but that does not negate the incontrovertible scientific fact that there are only two genders. As far as we know, there has never existed a single human being with the ability to BOTH conceive a child in his/her womb and, simultaneously, successfully inseminate a woman (or in more disturbing terms, for a hermaphrodite to inseminate him/herself). And even if such an individual has existed, that person would be a combination of BOTH male and female, and not some imaginary, novel third gender. In those rare cases in which a human is born without gonads, the other characteristics of sex/gender would be taken into consideration - firstly, the allosomes (sex chromosomes) found in the DNA of every cell, and then, any extant genitalia, since even those females who have experienced the misfortune of being born without ovaries, for instance, usually have their remaining sex organs intact). Cf. “sex”. Both terms (“gender” and “sex”) originate from Latin words: “genus” (meaning “begin”; “birth”; “kind”; “race”; “gender”) and “sexus” (meaning “sex”; “division”; “gender”). So, essentially, the only significant distinction between the two terms is that the etymology of “gender” pertains to the beginning of things, as can be plainly seen by the other English words that originate from "genus", such as “generic”, “genetic”, and “generate”, whilst “sex” is a scrupulously-literal translation of the Latin cognate “sexus”. The mere fact that the word “genitals” (referring to reproductive organs) is very closely related to the Latin “genus” is further evidence of the assertion that the term “gender” refers to the binary division of human (and of course, many non-human) sexual identity, and NOT to any taxonomy based on emotion, feelings, psychology, or any other non-biological categorization schema. If the reader is curious to know why this term is included in the glossary of “F.I.S.H” (apart from the fact that it is actually used in a handful of chapters), it is because leftists have been desperately trying to change the meaning of the word in recent times, in order to serve their immensely-perverse agenda to destroy civil society with their hateful, wicked, sinful, objectively-immoral ideologies. Until relatively recently, the word “gender” has ALWAYS been used in the etymologically-accurate sense of the term, and even in the former case, predominantly where leftist ideologues comprise a significant proportion of the population. See also “leftism”. If you are truly wise and intelligent, you would surely have recognized several amazing secrets contained within the body of this treatise, “A Final Instruction Sheet for Humanity”. However, perhaps the most secretive secret, shall forthwith be revealed: It is IMPOSSIBLE for a human being to change his or her sex/gender! (You are implored to keep this secret - do not tell a soul!!!) For example, a man who castrates himself and wears a skirt or a dress is simply a mutilated, transvestinal male - not a woman or a female. Similarly, a woman who attaches an appendage resembling a phallus to her crotch and dons a pair of pantaloons, is merely a transvestinal woman with a fake penis between her thighs, and not a man, nor a male, in any accurate sense of the terms. Actually, I would contend that any “man” who excises his reproductive organs was ALWAYS a dickless “man”, metaphorically speaking. 🤪

It's not like humans at some point had a meeting and set up a "boys" and "girls" columns and constructed all of the things they should like. Of course there is some societal influence but to act like it's ONLY that is ridiculous. Everyone thinks they're being logical but we're still driven by our animalistic side much more than we realize. The way humans lived didnt change all that much for thousands of years and then changed drastically the last few thousand and even more so the last 100. All of that programming from before is still in us, and our way of life has changed way too fast to evolve into being able to live like this without major issues. Same! I had just sat down on the couch next to my daughter, listening on my AirPods- & I got so frustrated I WAS facepalming .. & I blurted out some things about my frustration forgetting my daughter was right here & to her I’m just talking to myself😂 “What’s the matter mom, who’s ridiculous..?” … oh nothing baby- just people.. I’m sorry Lol Like we don’t know that there are some traits that are simply inherent .. it’s nature., little girls drawn to dolls is because they naturally tend to be more nurturing! They also often wanna mimic mom- which is also a natural thing . One of my daughter was obsessed with all things baby doll since she was old enough to engage in play! From a baby, it’s what she was drawn to-& our home had every type of toy imaginable! By the time she was 5 she had everything a baby would need- a toy stroller, a crib, a diaper bag, etc- and when she was 9 she started collected reborn dolls. She’s 13 now so she’s not into dolls, but that nurturing side is still very much a part of her- she still wants stuffed animals, she still wants to nurture her siblings, & she loves helping out with her baby cousins. It’s just who she is. My son use to take random toys & pretend it was a lawnmower & go out in the yard following dad when he was 3… not because someone forced a lawnmower on him - but because he naturally wanted to be like his daddy, and because he liked things with wheels that made noise. There’s reasons beyond what society imposes that kids are drawn to certain things- reasons like BIOLOGY. And where do they think certain societal norms came from in the first place; they were born from how humans naturally were. People are so concerned with being enlightened that they massively overcorrect & do just as much- if not more- harm than the people who did actually force certain gendered things on their kids. I don’t know why it’s so difficult to simply leave a kid be.

They didn't answer PB when he asked how these equalities would arise, given how men and women choose occupations? He used umpires and Steelworkers, but cement workers, brick layers, and most plumbers are also men. I don't think women could be offered these jobs and want them. I don't have the physical strength or energy, even when I was younger, to match a man's. This seems like a male dominated conversation, not because the moderator happens to be male, but because the men seem disconnected from the interest of our species. They like gender identity because it's self-absorbed, it suits the me-philosophers and it justifies their otherness. I found it interesting one guy says it's not like age because age is linear. Well, actually, our biological sex is also a linear trajectory. It only wouldn't be because they're trying to claim it's a psychological condition we can change physically. A few detransed people might divest them of this thought process.

A boy wanting to be like Daddy so he models what he sees him using/playing with and vice versa for girls and mothers is as much of a social influence and not biological at all as you can get. You were actually so damn close to getting it right until you brought up that your daughter models you and your boy models your husband. That IS them modeling a social construct. That is not biology at all.

  • @spec24

@@bbbbbbb51funny, you're the one who's got it wrong. Daddy's actions, then, would also have to have been socially constructed, as would have his father's, and his father's before him, and so on. But they weren't!! They were biologically constructed. No one, at any point in the chain, decided that men would do the labor, and women would do the raising/nurturing. It was a logical outcome of the biological differences between men and women that led to the very "social cobstructs" we see today. Obviously, with the rise of technology and the little need for any REAL labor by the majority, biological roles are becoming less important, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. Try again.

It’s physically difficult at this point for me to make it through these things- I actually have a visceral reaction😣 5min in and I’m frustrated.. it’s NOT just a matter of society & imposing things on children- ITS INHERENT! Society got its norms FROM NATURE.. It’s nature. It’s biology. From the moment I knew I was going to be a mom 16 years ago I knew I wasn’t gonna enforce certain gendered norms onto my children.. I’ve always raised them with the space to just be, while supporting & encouraging who they are. Never did the “that’s a boy toy, or no you can’t play with that doll it’s for girls” I just got them toys. But when my 1st child was hardly even a year old, with no societal influences imposed on him, & he’d have an abundance of toys infront of him of all different kinds- he almost always faithfully went for the trucks! There cojld be a giant new gadget there & he’d pick the small thing with wheel’s because he loved trucks! My 2nd, same thing with dolls- from the time she was crawling around she loved it. Any time we went to a store shed beg for anything relating to baby dolls.. not because it was pushed on her, or because everyone gave her that- it’s because it’s what she liked. & girls are usually drawn to those types of toys because most girls are nurturing BY NATURE!!! It’s inherent!! Now my 3rd & 4th- they were very much an equal mixture in terms of what they liked & their personality traits. I had my wild child daughter Who wanted to play in the mud & thought she was Spider-Man jumping on furniture, but she also wanted to be a princess- & I had my senstive boy who would sit with his big sister with their Cinderella heals on while he had an action figure in his hand. The point in- there are aspects of us that are by nature! That have nothing to do with society. And what these people are doing now is an overcorrection, big time!!! They aren’t allowing the kids to be themselves, they’re pushing them to pick up more of the opposite gender traits & forcing their ideological beliefs on them. There’s nothing wrong with giving a girl pink things just as much as there’s nothing wrong if she doesn’t like pink. And btw, shocker I know- but my daughter who loved playing in the dirt & getting rough with the boys- who would throw a tantrum if I put bows in her hair- is now a typical teenager girl who’s discovering new sides to herself- who spent almost the entire day yesterday trying out different hair styles , curling it, flat ironing it, fixing it different ways- as she’s getting more comfortable with herself & the changes, she’s gaining confidence & is embracing this new stage. & she’ll be the first to tell you- girls can like pink, get girly, wear dresses, etc and still hang with the boys and be just as tough! JUST LEAVE THEM BE!! I also want to say there are some extents to which you do have differences in how they are raised. Not only because their biology IS different- but also because their experiences in this life are & will be different.. & you can say “well it shouldn’t be, well in utopia it wouldn’t be” - but here in reality, IT IS. There are different things I teach my daughters, different behaviors I don’t allow or condone, things I’m maybe a little more cautious with them than with their brothers. Because that’s just reality. The conversations I have with my teen daughter about internet safety & rules for example aren’t exactly the same as it is with her older brother, .. my husband & I are a little different with the girls than with the boys- just because you wish the world was different doesn’t mean it is. Maybe you think a young lady should be able to act the same way as a man , & be still be treated the same- or seen with the same level of respect, etc .. but that doesn’t mean the world is gonna suddenly be the way you think it should- & I’m raising them in reality. My 15 yr old son can go walk around the corner to his friends house , my 13 year old daughter can not! My son can walk over to a group of young boys at a park or something, my daughter can not! She’s not allowed. & call it sexist, call it unfair, whatever - That’s just the way it is.

What I think is funny is probably about 10 years ago all of those people always thought there is only 2 genders but the minority convinced them to deny science and look and sound stupid right along with them

If everyone in her friend group is playing with dolls (or trucks), a girl is likely to start doing the same, even if she doesn't particularly like dolls (or trucks). There's no intention to force the girl into a gender stereotype, it's just the way people tend to behave.

"Freedom" from these suppressive expecations, sounds great, but if everyone does what they "feel like" with no expectations to sacrifise, society collapse. I'm of the opinion is you raise your children by making sure they are aware they are the sex and gender they are born with, but allow them to do things that aren't stereotypical to that gender. If your boy wants to play with a doll when he's 4 or a girl wants to do some boy things, that's fine. Just because they aren't doing stereotypical things that doesn't mean they still aren't the gender they're born as. Maybe I think this way as I grew up without any confusion and my family was never super strict on gender stereotypes when I was a kid. My mother was a tomboy, I was allowed to play with some girl things as a boy like I had a couple of My Little Pony toys in the 80s. Half the confusion I have to wonder is this stupid opinion is letting the kid pick what they feel like. No your job as a parent is to make them aware they are the sex and gender they was born as.

They are making sure that they don’t say the wrong thing. **Should the parent, teacher, counsellor or medical professional be held personally responsible and liable for affirming, convincing and or facilitating a child, a minor under the age of 18 years old, to medically castrate and or sterilize themselves with puberty blockers, taking testosterone and or coercing them into having medical interventions that permanently alter their bodies to the point of never being able to have children or feel sexual pleasure if….when they become young adults they change their minds and feel violated and abused as a minor??? I say yes…if the adults allow minors to do irreversible harm to themselves while in their care, if the person changes their mind as a young adult….the groomers and child abuse should know that they will be held accountable. I’d bet the they wouldn’t be pushing this ideology so much if they thought that they had to pay for their crimes on children so quickly now would they.
