Sanchez is always fantastic, but I'm always impressed by how good of an interviewer Collin is. At 12:30 Collin clearly wants to make a point about the importance of the deep ball at the NFL level but realizes that Sanchez is moving on to a super detailed, high-energy film breakdown so trying to get his question in would just mess with the pacing of the interview. After a great back and forth interview for the rest of the show, Collin doesn't say a word for 3 minutes because he's letting Sanchez shine. Great segment!

The intoxication of hype is exhilarating. But I've been a fan of this team too long to hop aboard the train before it even reaches the station. I'm cautiously optimistic about CW even though looking at his highlight reel suggests that scouts have given him extra points for artistic impression. He's fun to watch. He just didn't win when it counted.

The Steelers didn't expect Pickett to act the way he did, it caught everyone off guard including Russ, I don't believe Russ would have picked Pittsburgh if Fields was there 1st, I bet if Russ had to be honest he would admit he was a lil annoyed that pickett was traded because it would have been easy comp for him, but Fields is a different story, now Russ has to actually work for the starting job, def not what he signed up for but I believe in Russ, Artur Smith's offense should work in his favor

Darnold and Mayfield both played on the 2022 Panthers, below are a comparison of their performances in games in which they started. BAKER MAYFIELD Starts: 6 Passing TD: 4 Rushing TD: 1 INT: 6 FMB: 5 Passing YDS: 1,158 Rushing YDS: 52 Total YDS: 1,210 Pass Attempts: 186 Rush Attempts: 16 Record: 1W - 5L (Mayfield appeared in 1 additional game against the Bengals, coming in during the top of the 3rd quarter and down by 35 points (some would call this “garbage time”). He threw for 2 TD, 0 INT, and 155 YDS. The Panthers lost: 21-42) SAM DARNOLD Starts: 6 Passing TD: 7 Rushing TD: 2 INT: 3 FMB: 6 Passing YDS: 1,143 Rushing YDS: 106 Total YDS: 1,249 Pass Attempts: 140 Rush Attempts: 26 Record: 4W - 2L (During Baker Mayfield’s time as a 2022 Panther, Christian McCaffery played in 5 out of 6 Mayfield starts, and DJ Moore played in 6 out of 6 Mayfield starts. During Sam Darnold’s time as a 2022 Panther, Christian McCaffery played in 0 out of 6 Darnold starts, and DJ Moore played in 6 out of 6 Darnold starts) Based on these stats, I believe people are heavily undermining the ability of Darnold especially when compared to Mayfield. We have an identical sample size for these two players who were on the same team in the same year, and people look over it. Darnold can absolutely have a major year on the Vikings, given what Mayfield did on the Bucs.

You can tell Colin longs to have a chance meeting on a cross country train ride sitting across from Sam Darnold where they can talk about life, love, their fears and insecurities, share some laughs with the trip ending in a slightly lingering, slightly inappropriate hug as Colin wonders if they will keep going in touch and if the shared experience meant as much to Sam.

Drake May is going to be the Sam Darnold of this draft.
@303offroad

Not sure why everyone is so hyped on Drake maye. Dude has a lot of talent but is so unrefined and his accuracy is pretty bad when you watch film. His feet in the pocket are horrible, he has a long throwing motion, very inaccurate probably due to his horrible feet. His best attributes are his strong arm and his improv but that's not enough to win in the NFL. He needs to go somewhere he can sit for a few years to refine his mechanics.

1980s good players -- Sabitina, Chang, Becker, Nicklaus, Stadler, Kosae, Holmes, Miller Cheryl, Hearns, Gibson, Venezuela, Gooden, Strawberry, Campbell, Riggins, Allen, Largent, Fouts,
Personally, in a 10 year period I believe Drake will be the best quarterback in this draft. Also end up being one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. He has Josh Allen written all over him potentially better.
Yes, "dimes on the money from 15 to 20 yards"....but let's see how accurate he is when a pass rusher is 2 seconds from knocking him to the ground. Any nfl quarterback can "drop dimes" 15 to 25 yards with no pressure in their face.
There’s a rookie pay scale now Colin ❤
Colin Minnesota is your fools gold They’re your new Atlanta 😂
I think all Bears fans are looking forward to Darnold vs Williams.
The deep balls he missed was really because the WR let up
Sam Darnold isn't the same as Baker. Baker actually showed he could play, then fell off a bit, got into a better situation and showed he could play a bit. Sam Darnold has never once looked the part of a starting QB. It wouldn't be a comeback like Baker's.
USC guys are always a great interview 💯🎯
Drake Maye to Washington 🎉
I don't think there's any question he has the physical ability but so do a lot of guys. The NFL quarterback position is all about let's wait and see.
Wow Caleb being of the bald type really went all out for toothless
Caleb in Chicago fall and winter , what could go wrong ? 🥶
Who started this right foot up first is a airhead, you start with your left foot up.
They must have the same agent😂😂😂
Brett Favre wouldn’t have made it without patience. Mike Holmgren never pulled him, the team didn’t give up on him. He had some rough games, and threw a bunch of interceptions. He didn’t have the luxury of sitting for 3 years. I look at how QBs get thrown in right away, then they struggle and the team changes the coach or coordinator and the struggles continue. You have to give a guy time, having the same coaches and system offers stability and cohesion. Darnold is in an endless loop now, Minnesota is going to draft a guy and Darnold will wind up being a placeholder again.
Marc; weren’t you eating hotdogs in games 🤔?
Great guest, but if Sanchez is ever taking bets, I’m going money down on Maye not being a star. Heck, I’d put money down that he isn’t even league average by the end of his rookie deal. Way, way too much development is needed for a guy going to a franchise that is as bad as Washington or NE.
Just watched his pro day I’m not sure if he’s going to be what they say.
They love em a drake maye

Jury still out on Mac Jones. He was in a lose-lose situation in New England. Kid took Pats to playoffs rookie year, and selected to the Pro Bowl. Then Belichick hires a defensive coordinator to be Mac’s offensive coordinator his sophomore season and Mac regresses, as we would expect. He loses his confidence and ends up having a subpar Sophomore season, and an even worse third season. Now Mac has new life in J’ville, his hometown, where his family still resides. The Prince hasn’t been living up to the hype either, since he was drafted #1 overall in the same draft class as Mac. Trevor needs to start playing more consistently or he could lose his starter job to Mac if he shows no improvement.
Mark wants to coach this kid so bad 😂
I think Sanchez is paid by these players to talk about them like this.
New York doesnt have 2 teams to beat up on they have one official NFL team that actually plays in the state of NY and this the bill....Jets/Giants play in the state of New Jersey!!!!!!
