I saw one of you (and you know who you are) in the stadium during the Manchester City game singing along with other Spurs fans focussing on Arsenal and not supporting spurs win against Manchester City. He is not a genuine spurs fan and has embarrassed and humiliated all genuine diehard fans who wanted only a victory over City.

Nevermind all this small club mentality stuff. Take responsibility for your decisions, if you chose to hope for a loss for your club, and get all giddy when you got it that's on you. Own it.

Going to games doesn’t give you an excuse to call yourself a supporter. Nobody complains more than local premier league supporters. Scared whining sooks. Have a backbone and harden up - Ange is all over this rebuild. Son cost us the game, but that’s football. Next year if he improves the same amount we’ll be in the title race. I’ve been to a game… before Ange. 0-0 against Fulham. It was shit. I’m only watching spurs because there’s an Australian manager which means there will be aggressive attacking. Its Ange first season. Some fans make it sounds like its his fifth season. Your expectations are so high, it ridiculous. Ange repeatedly said he want to installed a certain playing style and winning mentality during this beginning of the rebuild. He said there are other issues which he see is more important than set pieces. They have change something. He gave the midfielders a lot of chances to improve before he started switching it around because the players were out of form. Spurs fans were never united. Some fans were waiting or want Ange to fail from the beginning.

i totally agree with Ange. Even if we did beat city and Arsenal won the league that doesn't mean we helped them to win. they won it because of they had won so many games in this season including the recent north London derby. Us fans just to need support our team to win the game instead of helping other team to win so preventing Arsenal to win the league.

Nah Ange isn't going to be defensive. It worked for him his whole career and even worked this season if you look at the stats.

Some want Ange out. But on the flip side for his own sanity Ange needs to get out of Spurs - he must now think he has been sold a ‘lemon’ by taking this job.

The mentality needs to change top to bottom, including the fans. That disgraceful display on Tuesday needs to be the last time we ever see that.

Not a spurs fan, so take this as a person who does not understand, but I think Spurs always looking over their shoulder at what Arsenal are doing, is born from the club losing its identity. But the "who dares wins" identity, is not just an attacking style, Spurs used to be so competitive, so proud but it lost its identity, and to have that arrogance, that will to win, that pride, you HAVE to change the mentality. For years the only thing for Spurs fans to care about was Arsenal, that was the focus, when the real focus needs to be that "we must win". Ange will likely admit he misjudged the fans, but I doubt he will step it back, he is a true winner in every sense of the word, and he HATES losing to ANYONE for any reason. Ange is a principled man, an honest man, a hard working man but most of all he believes in himself, and he WILL make Tottenham believe or he will up and leave. He has walked before, from winning teams, he walked from the Aussie youth setup, He walked from the national team after qualifying for the World Cup - He quit that national team and a chance to coach at the world cup because he disagreed with the philosophy the mindset that we should play defensive and careful and try to win at all costs.. Football Australia wanted him to defend and play for draws. At Brisbane Roar he took a bang average team all the way to winning the league and when a few of his players suggested they should slow intensity and go easier at training and perhpas not be so obsessed with winning, he terminated their contracts, they went on to be undefeated in 36 games in a row. I might have rambled on here, but if you hear nothing else... if you dont align - he will walk, and he WILL find spurs's identity, as he said, "if you want arsenal not to win the league, lets win it ourselves"

Ange has to change his mentality first which is adapt and evolve

To Jonny's point regards the change in the team in the first ten games and then the change after players returned from injury, suspension or National duties. First Maddison's form has been horrendous since coming back from injury, the Man City game is the first game he put a good shift in. Then there is the form of other players dropping off, this is what causes the frustration on the pitch, and this is why you see players having a go at each other. I think Spurs were hard done by not having regular matches week after week, the long break between games especially when your team is playing well has a detrimental of effect on the team. When you look at the last six games Newcastle, Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea and Burnley. Apart from Burnley the other teams are in really good form and any other team in the league would struggle to get a result, especially when you are carrying out of form players. Ange will have identified those not up to the task and what areas need reinforcing. In my eyes the biggest and most important position is the striker, so many games would have been won or easier had more goal opportunities ben taken. Not replacing Harry Kane was a huge mistake and Spurs cannot have another season without a prolific goal scorer.

When Harry played, he would send long balls out wide from the centre for sonny and kulo to run onto, we dont have that now. That is what maddison should be doing. Fast attacking football, too much softly softly now.

Agree and disagree. I think it starts from the bottom. We could literally get relegated and no fan would even move a muscle to try to stop it from happening. When teams used to winning like ManUtd and Arsenal were in the mud, their fans United in thousands to protest against their owners, that would just never happen at our team because we’re not used to winning and when winning isn’t a demand from the fans, why should the ownership change? They can take some moaning on Twitter/in media but Levy even rewarded himself a £3M bonus from finishing 8th under Conte (fun fact, that’s approximately what the club will earn more from the ST price increases). The problem is that some parts of the fanbase are absolutely content with just watching entertaining football whilst being mugged and see winning mentality as entitlement, whereas the other part starts alienating fans soon as they’re not exactly as upset as them (like TottenhamAway). It’s more important for fans/fan channels to be right than for the club to actually change.

I don’t like it, that now everything Ange said or did gets questioned because of this press conference. The point with the staff, why hasn’t Ange come out and said: yes I need a new set piece coach etc.? Because that wouldn’t be generate healthy environment inside the club. Why do some players let theirs heads down? Because some probably already knows they wont be here next season. Why did we kept playing our way? Because Ange needs to see who can play his style? Why isn’t the focus on set pieces? Because for set pieces you don’t need to know if you have the right players. Guys we are in a rebuild.

Since beating Villa on May 10th recent results include losing 3-0 at Fulham, 4-0 at Newcastle, 2-0 at Chelsea, 4-2 at Liverpool and 3-2 at home to Arsenal. If Ange wants to balme anyone for missing CL maybe he should be looking closer to home.

What I don't appreciate is this: Brains & Jonny both downplaying the North London Derby.... LIVE ONLINE!
