I have a 2022 650xt with 5100 kms on it and its amazing and has had no trouble, original belt and brakes. This bike has an endless long power band that is graceful in technical riding and flat up romps in the open stretches, I have shut it down at 115 kms hr as thats good enough for me,I don't land as good as I once did,they should of kept this machine in my opinion...

Looks like a fun trip! Both are really nice machines!

I thought the tusk tires were ok. I like the abuzz a little more. The itp terracross tires are a way better tire than any big horn or knock-off, in my opinion. And i would say the difference u both are feeling is the power from each machine. Awesome vid!!!!

I like these models I believe over the new 500/700 for 2023. It seems the 650 as you have has better trail riding power, than the 850. The 850 seems to have a little too much, but like you mentioned they dropped it for 2023. I also prefer the gray on the dps over the other color options on the base, and xt. I suppose if I were to get one I would be stuck with going for the 850.
