This didn't tell us much. No numbers on how the project is doing. What is working so far and what isn't.

i suggest looking up other documentaries on this they go into detail. There are few of these projects that take 4 years to grow, that create food farms in the process for local villages, others that plan native trees that act as shades and growth zones so other plants can be planted. They are mostly using old civilization forgotten techniques like building half moons at an incline to collect and store ground water and replenish underground aquafers. etc. theres alot of work happening

@@Krobra91 Kinda of like what they are doing in Saudi? I saw they have round farms at the edg of the desert as well as near the ocean. Greening project for the 100 mile Wall city but surrounding it. It's great stuff. The half moons as well as the larger round farms..

They don't even mention the Great Green Wall until 2/3 of the way through. It's like a documentary about the Brooklyn Bridge that spends the first half explaining what gravity is.

One of the most important projects in our lifetime. To think that the Sahara was once a vast, fertile agriculture zone prior to desertification is astounding. I hope it succeeds!

Political integration should precede economic integration, hence why regional economic has failed to reduce poverty and intra Africa trade is still low, there must be single passport and quality infrastructure for free movement of persons and goods

Nice. But most of the wars in Africa are primarily due to interference of external forces like the West. Evidence of this is now available. Most people don't kill each other because they don't have land for grazing their animals or plant crops. Yes, back in the 1800s, the wars were for expanding local influence.

People must first leave Abrahamic religion and think of their ancestors who survived this vast landscape with full of greenery. People must dedicate to achieve this goal asap for their future generation without going for any kind of war. Concentrating the goal
