I got the hair wash and it made my hair squeeky clean! Can't wait to use henna/indigo method to see new results!

I’m the asker of the first question and I alternate between your red raj, your Moroccan henna and light mountain natural in Red depending on what I have on hand and what is in stock for me to buy. I use clarifying shampoo once a week and also use an acv and/or rosemary water rinse when I feel like my hair needs it. The only thing I can think of is is that I have used a couple non-herbal glossing treatments (dpHUE gloss+ and glossy glaze both in the shade copper) in between henna treatments and the artificial copper tends to go too dark/burgundy than ginger and I could see that impacting the color. Recently I found an older hair mask video of yours and I mixed your Sukesh Ayurveda powder, amla and aloe powders, coconut milk, honey, your ayurvedic hair oil, rosemary and peppermint essential oils, coffee grounds, and two capsules of Ashwagandha powder and let it sit in my hair for two hours after washing. OMG does my hair feel amazing!!! i also noticed the color of my hair is faded significantly which I'm actually happy with! I feel like that dark coppery/burgundy color is stripped out and i have a blank canvas for a Moroccan henna treatment with a bit of cassia to get back to the gingery orange color I love! i might do one more coconut milk mask to really get it back to a cleaner slate first but I'm excited! 😁

So if my hair is black and I’m doing the indigo thing (and by the way, I’ve already done it your way first. I’ve already colored my hair weeks ago and soon it’ll be time for a touchup.) should I be using the henna because I want my results to be darker?

For true black tones and to use indigo to get those proper results in that color, you must use henna first and then indigo. Henna acts as the base to get indigo to work well and stick to the hair

Some ladies color their hair during or few days before period,that can cause henna fade away too soon

Dear friend.,sometime using oil with henna paste would cause fade away sooner than usual.
