How is the parody of self defense literally more legit than the channels that take themselves seriously. I'm sharpening my holsters even now.

True story I was talking with a cop and this was like back in the '80s when this happened or something and basically the story went that he was just new on the force and it was like a detective or something and so they had to like go into a house and he pulls out his gun and the holster is still attached. They didn't have to shoot anyone the guy gave up but after that everyone was talking about how the suspect got shot with a holster.

This is not so ridiculous as it might seem, if there were a good designed holster, it might be used like in many east asian fighting arts to be pinched in the palm, allowing palm strikes at a knife wielder without losing fingers. Having a look at kydex it seems hard enough to scratch knifes, which get holstered in it. But these things are usually very weak against heat and cold, this one reason why for example a good police tonfa is this expensive, because you do not want to break it while going around the blocks at winter.
