Wow, that actually looks amazing. This would legit be the reason I'd buy a PSP. I've already played and 100% completed Minecraft for the PS Vita, which is awesome, but seeing Minecraft run on the PSP is truly something else.

The sound of a PSP starting a game up will ALWAYS send a chill down my spine. There was a time when there were 3 PSPs in my household, So it was VERY common to hear that sound. And to this day it just reminds me of better times. Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, Metal gear Peace Walker, Sims 2, so many bangers.

Just found your channel and this series and I love it man! I'm someone who collects every version of Minecraft on every platform myself, so this is right up my alley!

The corrupt app stuff is because you used Mac, when copying files to an external device on Mac it creates hidden metadata files which when mounted on other systems like windows or in your case a PSP those systems don’t know what to do with it and because it’s so similar to the original files it will then display as corrupt

Yeah, I also have a similar thing with my jailbroken PS3 but instead of corrupt data it just shows those metadata with ._ added in front of them when I go to install a pkg file

Here in Germany a PSP 3000 costs €30 (44.74 Australian dollars) and you can pick it up locally if you want. In general, everything that has to do with older consoles is cheaper here in Germany, which I don't understand, but it is what it 😅

this is really nostalgic for me i remember playing this version on school, unfortunately my psp is broken :\, but is really cool this psp version of minecraft, its so well made i think if mojang really release a minecraft version for psp will be exactly like that one, there is also one version called fromage that are made for ps1 i recomend taking a look at this version too (sorry for the bad english, i am brasilian and im still learning english)

I know Minecraft exists for the 3DS, but that version of the game is so weird you have to play it for yourself, it's like a weird mix of the legacy console edition, the old bedrock edition, and java edition all rolled into one

my dad found an old psp 3001 from somewhere in boxes (since we were moving in) a few months ago, and it's been by me wherever i go in the house since. There isn't even a battery in it. It's just so satisfying to press everything and figure out all the things to it. Can't wait to buy a new battery and actually play on it

My parents bought me PSP 3004 back in 2009 for christmas, it was Assasins Creed edition (just a console and game in box :D ) but man.. it was a ride.. i still own it to this day and it still works

The right title should have been: "Did someone made a Minecraft clone for PSP? Yes and I did nothing but buy the console, install the game and play for a few minutes"

Dam, this is quite cool. I have same exact PSP but I was playing only NBA game, but now sadly it has a broken micro ssd and it also had wall-e and one more game, such a good memories

Pro Tip: some games like GTA can have pretty bad performance. Thats because they run on a lower clock speed to save battery. In fact, the first years Sony allowed games to use only about a third of the maximum supported clock speed before later unlocking it's full potential via updates. On you Jailbroken Device you can hold shift in the home menu and bring up a menu that allows you to force all games to use the maximum clock speed. This greatly improved GTAs performance for me. It's also completely save, you're not overclocking, you're just using the maximum official speed that the PSP supports. Only downside is the battery goes down faster so you should't do this on the go

PSP is legendary!!! Flash forward ten years from now and it will still be worth it.

I really missed the cheat engines you can use in GTA LCS & VCS. Flying vehicles around the whole map in a few seconds and making the refresh rate on the PSP struggle was so fun, and flying the vehicles so high in the air that the whole map eventually disappears and the screen goes black, then falling back down (that and turning off or reversing gravity). I also remember turning up the gravity would eventually cause you not to be able to move and all cars to just start exploding spontaneously. And you could change water levels and flood the whole map with water. There were so many other wacky things you could do with the games. I havent had any luck finding a way to do this in PPSSPP, unfortunately. Looks like someone made a newer version called CheatDeviceRemastered that works on PSP & Vita. Stuff like this and the homebrew / modding community is the biggest reason i still want to get a PS Vita, even though i already own an ROG Ally and Steam Deck.

Apple pie recipe: Ingredients US CUSTOMARY Servings: 8 people 1 recipe for double pie crust 2 1/4 lbs Granny Smith Apples, peeled, cored 6-7 apples (7 cups thinly sliced) 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon 8 Tbsp unsalted butter 3 Tbsp all-purpose flour 1/4 cup water 1 cup granulated sugar 1 egg , + 1 Tbsp water, for egg wash Instructions Make the pie crust recipe and chill per instructions while preparing the filling. Preheat oven to 425˚F. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in 3 Tbsp flour then simmer for 1 minute, whisking constantly. Whisk in 1/4 cup water, 1 cup sugar and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and continue simmering 3 minutes, whisking frequently then remove from heat. Peel, remove cores and thinly slice 7 cups of apples and place them in a large bowl. Sprinkle the top with 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon and toss to combine. Pour the sauce over the apples and stir to coat the apple slices. Sprinkle your work surface with flour and roll out bottom pie crust to a 12" diameter circle. Wrap it around your rolling pin to transfer it to the 9" pie plate. Add apple mixture, mounding slightly in the center and being careful not to get the filling on the edges which would make it difficult to seal. Roll second crust into an 11" round and cut into 10 even thickness strips using a pizza cutter. Arrange strips in a woven lattice pattern over the top (see video tutorial). Beat together 1 egg and 1 Tbsp water and brush the top with egg mixture. Bake at 425˚F in the center of the oven for 15 minutes. Reduce the heat to 350˚F and continue baking another 45 minutes or until apples are soft and filling is bubbling through the vents.* Rest at room temp 1 hour before serving.

It's actually pretty easy to get Minecraft to run on a PSP. The 10 minutes of filler were totally unnecessary other than help you hit the midrolls.

Years later, my brother still has his psp that works while i still have my psvita that also still works

I always was so jealous of those who got the PSP when the console was still popular. Just playing PS2 like games on a portable system was just mind blowing at the time, but I never got a PSP myself and even though I tried to get a PS Vita from Japan, the console never arrived, so I felt sad. Hopefully one day I get my own PSP or PS Vita in the future.

I just got one for around 60$. It's 3000 model, so it's the most advanced one. I also ordered double slot SD card adapter and two 32GB cards. Can't wait for it to arrive so I can mess around with it and throw a bunch of stuff on it.

This Thing is as old as me and bro still got it running minecraft😭🙏

Man I spent so many hours of my childhood on the PSP but when it died I felt broken for months since here in secyhelles No one could or would have the degree to fix it and buying a new one was a financial problem for me back then ... and now ALSO the PSP from 2004 had an upgrade of an second Analog stick

Happy to see you/people in general training...you may not see this but id recommend starting out on your knees and doing chest to floor as to get better stimulus or if you want id recommend listening to someone called mike israetel

The first time I got the PSP was pretty fun, it costed 49£ since 2017 I remember, idk how it was even that cheap, my favourite game to play on that console was GTA: Liberty City Stories, I loved it

You can use the Ark mod for Infinity 2.0. For some games, you need this mod because they tend to have issues, for example, in THUG2 Remix, your saves won't be recognized properly if you have a memory stick larger than its intended size.

I loved the PSP but honestly it's kind of tarnished for me because of the HUGE oversight of putting the analogue on the left / only having one analogue stick. It completely gimped the ability to play FPS games and all they had to do to solve it was put in another stick, or simply move the stick to the right so we can use the stick to look around and the arrow buttons to move. But they severely dropped the ball in a way that completely tarnishes the whole experience for me. I would just never go back to my PSP 1000, even though I have it sitting in a drawer ready to go, because of the controls. If I want to play PSP games, I just emulate them on something that has two analogues, like a switch. Or an android phone with a controller attached.

I found out a whole new world for myself when my friend told me that PSP can emulate PS1.

That actually looks better than the Switch port
