The doom error was related to the fact that you didn’t have the WAD file (basically the entirety of the game’s assets and game logic) that the engine, or the source port, reads and plays. You can easily download WADs, even ones with mods, or you can extract them from your DOOM copy.

Hey, if you see this. You need to remove the "Timebomb" that your r4 card has. These cards have a virtual timebomb that is set to make the card worthless after a year or even less. R4 cards are known to have those in them. There are many guides to remove it but if you see this, once again, it needs to be removed.

as people mostly say timebomb its always a mistake when youre R4 card arrives for the first time there should be a link to a website where you can download a menu for the R4 card which allows it to work if not you just try each one of them until one loads up

Unofficial, fan-made software is called homebrew for every console, and it's not just Wii and DS. Also you won't be getting in jail for making homebrew, modding will void your console's warranty. Gary Bowser was sent to jail for making devices to play illegal games on Switch and 3DS.

When I was like 13, my friend gave me an r4 card and loaded a few roms onto it and one of them was DS Craft. I was so impressed by how well it ran and I played it a fair amount before I got Minecraft on PC. Wish he kept updating it. I would have loved to see mobs or even a BASIC version of survival

You can get it easier on the DSi. There is a few methods using the SD slot.

Nice !! Do you know that the Game Boy Advance can run a very basic 3D Minecraft level creator ?

You don’t need a flash cart, just stick a regular sd card and chuck it in the sd card slot on the side of the ds, also for doom to run you need to place the wad file found in your copy of doom, stick it in the folder you put the .nds file in and then try opening the doom app on your ds

I have the same flashcard, well I call it an r4 card but anyway when I put it in the ds well the first time it didn't think there was a game in it but I must have put it in wrong because I took it out and put it back in and it worked and all they files + every game(I think) + gameboy color, gba and nes emulators already set up with a few (definitely not every) games already on there.
