Try camping further north in NY! Tahawus, also known as the village of Adirondac, is an abandoned mining town located in the Adirondack Mountains in New York. It was originally developed in the 19th century for iron mining. Today, it's a ghost town with remnants of its past, offering a glimpse into the region's history amid the surrounding natural beauty of the High Peaks.

Hi. I have visited many if the tunnels and underground fort systems in north east France, (the Maginot line). Very impresive indeed. As they are protected as historical monuments there is very little grafity. Indeed many of these places are in the same state that they were when the soldiers left after the first world war. Beds, kitchen ware, even coats and helmets and gas masks and shells for the canons. History is well worth learning and seeing. All the best.

An alcohol stove is nearly as fast and doesn't require disposable canisters. If you've never camped in the Okefenokee Swamp, you should. It's not stealthy, but it is very remote and untamed. We live “vicariously” through your adventures, perhaps today needed a warning label. @@WesWherever thatcher island is the name by the way. I believe there is a campground on the island as well.
Love that place, been there many times. Easier hiking in from the western entrance imo but there's a cool former NIKE radar site on the side you entered from. Best to go in the winter when the cave crickets and big spiders aren't covering all the walls, mud in the tunnels is much firmer, and you can find the other structures much easier with the lack of foliage.

@chasehall1501 I have done a couple trips with my mom's dog!! Check out "I Took My Mom Primitive Island Camping" and "Camping On Top Of Extinct Volcano" if you'd like to see him in action! 🐾💙
you have been hearing weird noises on a few..maybe take some audio overnight? (im curious of these sounds)

True! I had done that a couple trips but got out of the habit... I will have to remember to do it, especially in these creepy type places! A little worried about what I might discover though 😬

Hey, I've only seen 3 or 4 of your videos and I'm looking forward to seeing many more. There is another youtuber that does stealth camping among other awesome content. He is from Canada but he's in the states for a couple weeks. Steve Wallis (Camping with Steve). You should try to collab with him on a couple videos. If you get the chance, check his channel out.
Are you still in NY… I kayak and camp… I got a good spot for you, if you wanna do a video collab. HMU
