Tony has such a natural way of presenting. It really is like going out with a buddy. No airs or pretentiousness. Just chill and comfortable. It really puts you there with him. For me it's the next best thing to going out for an overnighter. I thank you sir for sharing these experiences with us.

I have never camped in the rain, but I would love it!

When a man can cry on camera, very refreshing. It's been tough on so many, my family and I included. Much love to you, Bruce, and your wife. 🙏🏼

Honestly the fact he provides good wholesome content with dog just shows he’s out with his best friend enjoying pure nature and life ♥️

They're quite an elusive species... they're becoming extinct. Get up very early like before sunrise and you eill need to cook a very nice hearty breakfast lots of bacon should help lure them in. You need to be very quiet you don't want to spook them. Good luck in your search. Ive managed to procure the last one on the east coast.

I remember all of them. I can remember when Clint Eastwood was in Rawhide.I was just a kid and I thought he was the Hottest going next to the horses. I always check out the horses but Clint was a Smoking Hottie I thought even as a kid.

Oh Tony, it’s quite alright to open up and share your emotions with us, it’s a part of what makes us all connected. It has been a tough ride for most of us, even before CoVid, but since, damn near maddening. You and Anne and Bruce are in our hearts and prayers. Thank you for making so many of us feel joy and contentment through watching you and Bruce’s adventures.

Live seeing Brucie darting across the background like someone is throwing a ball for him then seeing him bound into camp. He’s adorable!

I just had a camping trip with my family in a thunder and lightning storm raining weekend. When it was tough to set up tent in the dark night with heavy rain. I told myself, if Tony can do it, we can do it. Turns out the camping trip was great! Kids were happy. Our marriage is stronger after this exciting experience. Thanks Tony for all the inspiration.

the only reason rain can be seen in films is because they use huge sprinklers that produce special chubby rain drops

Yes, rain is such a rare event it isn't even as frequent as asteroid strikes. Of course it has to be faked. ;) I wonder what it would cost Tony to bring a team responsible for fake rain ...

I love the sound of rain and would love to be there with you. As long as you have the right gear, tarp, fire and food all is right in the world 😊

I absolutely love camping in the rain. I love listening to it fall onto a tarp or tent, I find it so relaxing. Our daughter and I are going camping with the grandsons in a couple of days, it's only an overnighter and it's meant to rain but that won't stop us. So long as you can keep warm and dry or get warm and dry after being wet then all is good when camping. This tent reminds me of the little one I had for our daughters and I still use for the two older grandsons...old school with two poles and guy ropes, quick and easy to put up and still waterproof.

Love your videos Tony. Top marks for managing to keep the conversation going so effortlessly, that's a hard thing to do! You seem such a decent bloke who truly cares about his followers. Cheers from the UK.

Hi Tony, please don't be sorry or ashamed of your pain and sadness you share with everyone here for the loss of your dad. I know how you feel my friend it's just too much sadness when we think deeply about those we lose. Your doing the right thing here my friend, you need to vent your feelings so you can deal with things better. It will get easier to handle trust me.

I could never afford Hilliburg Tents , but I used a Vango Banshee pro for years , and it was Bullet proof , stood up to everything that Nature could throw at it !.

I do not function well in the mornings without a large Coffee ! , lol.

When I have a stressful night shift I come home and relax to ab chatting about camping . Thank u ❣️

I genuinely feel your pain Tony, Covid really has been one of the lighter issues me and my family has endured this year. Don’t get me wrong, Covid has still been ever present. My sister and I lost our godmother to late stage oesophageal cancer and couldn’t do or see her due to covid restrictions. My aunt who is like a sister to me was eventually diagnosed with a benign brain tumour which was the size of a golf ball and she went through surgery etc. During all this I had a cycling accident whilst on holiday and broke my collar bone in two places… My mum became ill (not covid) and needed 2 courses of antibiotics to get her well again. All through this, I managed to keep it completely together, even with my broken collar bone as I needed to stay strong for everyone else during that time. What pushed me over the top was losing my amazing Jack Russell terrier to IBD a few weeks ago. I was lost and a sobbing wreck. Having a cry is a pressure release valve for al the stress and pent up emotions we need to release. To be fair it's the bravest thing to do as you’re not afraid to show your true emotions to others. At least that's my take on it. Thanks for the videos and please keep making them. :o)

Watching you today from the comfort and warmth of my house I had a sudden desire for Kendal Mint Cake . Luckily I had a stash in preparation for some hiking in the Carpathian Mountains. This is my new favourite channel on KZread.

If I was in a camp that was all fully set up, then I would love to camp in a rainstorm, however I would not enjoy having to set a camp up in one :p As for the smoke its most likely what is happening is your blocking the wind, so because there is less wind coming from where you are sitting, the wind going everywhere else is pushing it in your direction.

FINALLY, ANOTHER VIDEO! I've been jonesing for this! I was going to sick Brucy on you! This rocks!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This was a most fabulous camp, Tony! You and Brucey were brave in all the wind and rain and rushing river waters. So fun to watch and listen to you two. Dinner and breakfast were superb as usual….so glad you finally got a non-stick Trangia pan! 🥳 I only have the burner and not their whole kit, so I have no idea what kind of non-stick surface they have. 🙏 I hope and pray that each day gets easier for you and your family.♥️
