Best way to keep everything ready for spontaneous trips is to buy another family vehicle and keep the GX fully loaded at all times. 😀

Agreed. Or just get a drawer system which is next for us.

We use Google Docs for two lists. The first list is a detailed check off list of everything that is going with us on each trip and to make sure it’s in the appropriate box. Is the coffee grinder in the kitchen gear box? The second check off list is for packing up the truck. Did we put our kitchen gear box in the truck? If not then there’s going to be a couple of grumpy people in the morning. We’ve been doing this for years and it works great for us. However, times are changing as we’ve ordered a Four Wheel Campers Hawk shell slide-in camper which arrives in August. This means new lists because much of our camp gear will be living in the camper full time and some of our gear we will no longer need. We are super excited!

We have used our checklist for years, but we move between vehicles and the list has to be different for each. Then how far we will be going for, etc which is always a fun part of the trip!

Did you get a chance to go up to the snow this year? I just got my 460 and haven't upgraded it yet so I wasn't feeling confident about snow treking. (especially the way Flag looked) Looking and tires and wheels and maybe a lift now. We'll keep an eye out for ya!

Was in Sedona this weekend enjoying the snow. Offroad only by foot though, it was pretty muddy by Saturday. Congrats on the 460!
