I was half expecting Steve to appear out of nowhere with his blowtorch at the end of the video, while Crazy Neighbor was struggling with the fire, and say, "hey, let me help you with that!"

He listened when everybody said we could just watch him sit there and camp. Well, he gave us lighting campfires instead, and I'm happy for it!!

My favorite camp fire technique is definitely the sparklers lmao. At first he looks like hes thinking, yeah this looks like nothing should go wrong. Then realizes that, this is in fact about to go VERY wrong.

“Crazy Neighbor” seems like one of the most mellow chill people you could possibly be friends with 😂

Man, the cut scenes with crazy neighbor struggling to split wood.... Genius. We'll miss that awesome human being so much!

It was nice to be reminded of all these creative fire starts! My favorites were the accidental sparkler bomb and the butane stove exploding. As long as Steve isn’t hurt I do love a little mishap.

So funny....Mrs. Crazy will never notice.....just love that.....great to see all this again.....I bad a brother who was as crazy and love fires, my parents left on vacation one year and he decided to clean house and get rid of "OLD FURNITURE " and matresses, so he made a big bon fire.....we lived on an estate....ours....well my parents came back to a half empty house and a lot more....he was just a very crazy guy who loved fires. He died 4 years ago from a heart attack at 60, we had great stories to tell at the funeral. Everyone including his children and people he worked with were in stitches and they only heard the half of it, he lived life to the fullest and was well loved by all.

I always hit up construction sites for scraps of unpainted, untreated wood. They usually agree since it's less for them to take to landfill.

This was very entertaining. I laughed and laughed. Brought back so many memories of my Dad. He used wood his whole life to heat his homes. Then all the camping and shop fires. I loved this one! You two are so funny!

I totally miss the wood stove and the ice fishing tent. It was like a complete habitat that you could use to survive anywhere, even in -30°C. I found your channel back when you were temporarily living in that tent and I was researching ways to live outside for extended periods in a cold climate, so this will always be what got me hooked and will always be dear to me. I even got some nostalgia seeing this footage.
