We warmly invite you to the next episode of our vlog.
We're setting off on our grand adventure! We have 2 weeks and 5000 km ahead of us. We start in Brisbane, enjoying picturesque views and joking about the writing on our car. Along the way, we marvel at an impressive flat mountain and a rainy Toowoomba, showing the route we’ve traveled and the charm of this city. As the rain intensifies, Tomek explains why our Delica D5 is perfect for 4x4 adventures.
We stop at a mysterious house, admire the surroundings, and enjoy some muffins. Continuing through endless fields, we pass silos and houses on stilts until we encounter a flooded road-truly amazing scenery! In the evening, we find Santa’s truck and need to locate an open toilet. Ola recommends the National Public Toilet Map app, which leads us to a surprising spot. Will we find a toilet there?
We keep going, passing a truck and driving through a huge puddle until we reach Moonie. We'll show you the map and the view of the place where we stopped, Tomek will reveal the odometer reading, and we slowly prepare for bed.
In the morning, Ola talks about her strange dreams and we show you the equipment we slept near. For breakfast, we visit a quirky pub (The Moonie Crossroads Pub) with boar heads and local artwork. After breakfast, we explore what’s on the other side of the big crossroads-visiting a memorial park and drilling rigs. Ola rides a giant crayfish, and we admire the sports facilities where Tomek spots kangaroos on the field. Finally, we bid farewell and preview what’s coming in the next episode.
