You guys never cease to entertain me! I also like how you sometimes re-invent yourselves by changing concepts (Class A living, Class B living, Truckcamper living, back to Class B living, and now, a Moto/Camper hybrid lifestyle…FANTASTIC 👏🏼👍🏼 I felt like I was in a video game watching the wonderful scenery going by as you met up with Kait! As you know, I’ve watched all your videos, some multiple times lol, and I have to say that this one was uniquely diff from all the others! The editing was very much on point, and YES….a “Riding with Joe” segment, would be very nice to see as you creep up on 60M total views 🤩🤩🥰🖖🏼

Awesome! Thank you! It's definitely different but I'm curious to see what people think if I do it on a more regular basis.
Really liked Joe's motovlog. The sound seemed fine to me and I really enjoyed the more open view of the scenery. Also liked the feeling of being on a motorcycle going down the road, front wind screen and all, but without the danger of course. Looking forward to future installments!

I love the motovlog Joe. A great new POV to add to the channel. I would for sure watch "A Sunday Ride with Joe". I used to ride a Kawasaki Ninja 500R back in the day here in NYC. That's a toy compared to your 1300. Sport bikes never really got the respect of riders of touring bikes or Harley's, but we didn't care. We had fun!

We were very glad to see Joe dress appropriately for riding. When we rode, we always dressed appropriately. Rode over 200,000 miles on Harley in U.S. and canada

Loved the video. We live in Clarksville by the Ohio river and I know you guys know that there is a lot to explore here. Especially the caves and historical sites. We have been following you two for a couple of years and enjoy all of your videos. Thanks!

Glad you took a bike ride and back roads are the way to go. Plan on going to the tail of the dragon! For years, my mom would follow my dad on his many trips. Back in the day, there were no gopro, smart phones. Trailers are for boats. No KZread, Instagram, Facebook. Last trip with dad, father in law was 3wks from Texas to Washington state. You smell everything. Had many bikes, the one now is bmw 1600

Looking forward to the Dragon. That said, having grown up in Los Angeles and having the Santa Monica Mountains and San Bernardino mountains as my backyard, I'm not sure anything can rival those in terms of the sheer number of amazing canyon roads but from what I've seen, NC might be very close.

I hear Tail of the Dragon in your future! Sound and video was great. The little add on window was annoying after a while. It had reflections and jiggles. Without it, we would have a clear view of the road just over the main window. Guess you need it for additional wind deflection?
@Weretherussos

That little window keeps a lot of wind off my helmet so I'm going to have to test filming without it to see how the extra wind impacts the sound.

Audio and placement of camera is perfect 👍🏼.
My wife and I travel this way sometimes. I have comms in my helmet so she can call me and we can talk no matter how far apart we are, or if we're in range she can just pop on a headset in the car and skip the phone part. That's very handy. I'm also a fan of wearing all the gear, but in summer I'll switch to mesh. Some people don't trust it but I can say it will hold up just fine in a slide. The difference between mesh and a more solid construction is that a more solid jacket and pants may be good for multiple slides, but the mesh is done after one. I don't plan on crashing twice on the same ride (or at all but you know.. if I could guarantee that maybe I would skip the power ranger getup) so I find that acceptable trade for the absolutely incredible airflow.
@Weretherussos
11 ай бұрын
I know how you feel. I’ve gone done with a leather moto jacket and textile pants. I slid, got back up and kept riding. The pants were done but I still have the jacket. Same with my old race gear - you can see where I slid along the ground at speed but it’s all still good.
The state park looked pretty nice. Christine said she is there with Kait when it comes to the bugs. Laughed when we saw your Buc-ee patch in the van. We have one in our square drop.

Thanks - Unfortunately with the way the helmet kinda squeezes my cheeks, it makes my voice a bit off plus the camera is filtering out a lot of the wind noise so it makes it a bit muffled.

Hello Brian, love a lot of the same channels. Thank you for sharing this with us. 💕NonnaGrace 🐓
If you'd like a nice winding highway that's extremely scenic, try Oregon Hwy 242 between McKenzie Bridge and Sisters; it's seasonal, opens typically mid-June and closes in about October. Some nice side hikes (my favorite is Upper & Lower Proxy Falls loop), and a lot of great switchbacks. The observatory at McKenzie Pass is amazing on a clear day! I drove it in an MG Midget back in the day, which was more exciting since British cars aren't really built for any elevation unless you really like to mess with a carburetor.

Joe - definitely keep the gear because a few days ago I saw a kid who had a crotch rocket, no helmet, no jacket but at least he had jeans on...anyway since it has gotten nice out he has been wheelie popping, racing down the city streets, weaving in traffic expecting the cars to stop and give him room. Welp - his luck ran out. He not only got hit, thrown 150 yards off the bike, bike was mangled and he caused 3 vehicles to hit each other avoiding his dumbass. He was cited, he had a busted head & broke his leg in 4 places - it was bent in several unnatural angles. I see the appeal of riding without a jacket and helmet but I also know that hitting the pavement is not a fun experience. Be safe, have adventures and enjoy the summer - oh call your Mom too!
