I was try to write this... My heart just hurt that i see toys become plastic trash that destroy our planet.

It makes me speechless to see what people buy for a lot of money to throw it all away after a short time. It's absurd.

Yep, I have the same feeling. Some people are just incredibly selfish and don't want any other person to benefit in any way from things they bought, and rather throw them away instead of donating them. Also, donating or selling things is a lot more effort than just throwing them away. I hope that this kind of selfishness becomes more and more socially unacceptable, and more effortless ways to give away things will be introduced soon.

será que isso ai vai pra um aterro..a nao ser que o caminhao seja um reciclador...aqui na cidade..interior de S.P o prefeito abriu um ecoponto para descarte de materiais de construçao... podas e capina..esses moveis velhos e outras coisas....bom eles dizem que dao o destino certo..pois o pessoal jogava em qualquer lugar..mas muita coisa que se joga lá tem gente que pega pra aproveitar..

The guy recording didn’t put it there, but yeah it is quite sad. People can’t be bothered to donate stuff or sell it as secondhand, they’d just rather toss it at the curb. But it satisfying to watch it just crushed nonetheless!

Those were the good ole days , me at a young age 7 riding my bicycle around town in pyjamas , following these trucks and watching how the blade crunched everything from home appliances to home furnishings inside the hopper for hours on end .

Where I live (US) the non-trash items: beds, iron, couches is picked up by a different truck. Much of the metal items would have been picked up by someone who recycles metal.

This is a Fairfield Cleanup truck, Campbelltown contract is using while Fairfield council has stopped Suez doing cleanup due to COVID, once things go back to normal this truck should go back to Fairfield. Also that white Dennis Superior Pak RL Liam seen is a Fairfield cleanup truck too its known as RL796.

Hey we need a trash truck like that down here I will trash truck only pick up trash they send another truck to pick up furniture and bikes and mattresses. You can't even leave a room toys or boxes and I'll trash can they won't even pick them up until you take out that stuff so they can get the trash.
