Why doesn't anyone explain how to fasten the LAST grooved deck board ahead of the trim board! The trim boards or picture frame boards have no groove for the tangs to go into.

These clips sure hold great fastened around the joist. However, that benefit makes it near impossible to ever remove a single board since these clips won't slide when loosened like the trex or others will.

Hey Shane and Wade, I asked a question on another video so apologies for repeat. So for installing Azek PVC boards (customer’s choice) I’m looking for best fastening system that looks good and is most effective for minimizing exp./ contr. Issues. In your opinion would that be these clips with grooved boards or the other Camo screws that just fasten on edges but non grooved? Thx so much guys. Chris

Are these good for climates that experience long winters and freeze/thaw cycles? Would it be better to just face screw in fiberon boards in Eastern Ontario Area?

These clips work great in all climates. We are in Saskatchewan and they work just fine in our harsh winters.

Boy this seems like a deeper topic than just a quick reply, haha. But yes, sometimes it's just not a good fit and you can decline the job. You should be interviewing your clients just as much as they are interviewing you.

These look super rugged. I bet they'll last a year in any heat or freeze
