Sick combos. Shame that the best looking combos are almost always not even close to being optimal lol

You can but it's a LOT LOT LOTTT harder, modern controls are made from easy access to special moves, For example, pressing the Heavy attack button on Cammy in modern controls automatticaly does a heavy kick, in order to do a heavy punch you'd have to press the Assist button, You'd have to train realy hard but you can do it

No, The start of the combo uses charged hooligan. Since we can not Input Hooligan Manually and need to use the special Input, It will do %80 damage Instead of the %100 with classic. The rest of the Combo most likely scales further. However do jumping Heavy kick into Standing Heavy Punch Instead of the Hooligan would be Identical In damage with modern controls.

Any tips on how to do the charge DP into level 3, I can't find the timing.

The timing is a little tough. You have to buffer the lvl3 input while holding the kick button. And once the kick lands thats when you hit the punch button for level 3

A little something that helped me is press forward then quarter circle forward to do the DP
