I think 2nd chance hiker was the big guy who fell and got hurt on the PCT and then met a German girl. I have not followed him but I think I know of him. Yup, if you are going to Europe and expect to shop at all hours of the day, you are very mistaken. It is much different there. Detail is not really the word for it. Gaudy comes to mind. Nothing like that anywhere in the US. And then the bells rang. Nice impressive cathedral. John from MI

You should have turned left before the airport and take the river route into Burgos. The route guides do not indicate this very well.

Yeah, Nigel is going to take that route when he comes back through going East.
