Those churches are SOOOOOoooo Old. Wow, that's milking the old way. I remember my mom telling me a story about milking cows by hand. She grew up on a small farm. She said when she milked the cows, the barn cat would show up and she would squirt some milk onto the cat's face. Needless to say, the cat loved drinking that fresh milk!!! Looks like you are running into more and more Pilgrims the closer you get to Spain. Be thankful you are not hiking in Nebraska or Oklahoma. They just had multiple tornadoes go through the states. You can make such good time by not having to avoid rocks and roots that are on the AT. The door on that church was very old. Beer is the holy grail on the trail. John from MI
