Never tire listening to Camille singing this song. beautiful woman beautiful song

Any time I go to a Camille gig I always bring someone who's never seen her before. To be honest at this point I watch them as much as I watch her, just to try to recapture a bit of how I felt that first time I ever saw her live. Haunting, hilarious, and an absolute master of her craft.

I'd never heard of Camille until last Friday when I saw her at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. But my word she has had an impact. So much so that I went back to see her again last night, and will probably go and see her several more times before I leave Edinburgh! What talent. And what a genuine lass as well.

Possibly the most emotionally charged song I've ever heard. I've long appreciated Camille's work, but this is a whole new level. Fantastic.

Nick Cave has written some 'more than' beautiful songs... I love his own rendition of this song, but also this of Camille's. So nice to see it is still available here to enjoy.

The minimalism of this cover and video are perfect for the mood. Very beautiful version. I like the build up too.

i saw her at the london feis this year! we walked away from THIN LIZZY and heard this crazy woman singing- we walked into her tent and stood at the back just out of pure amazement on how much enthusiasm she had and craziness - we wernt to keen on the song.... but we stayed and im SO GLAD! she sang her next song "hurt" cover and i cried because her passion was just too much! the songs that followed were equally as amazing! BRING ON TOM WAITS AND HER AT THE BARBICAN

Ohh I saw her in Recklinghausen, Germany on Friday. She's a real ..crazy singer. But so awesome. I loved it, her and the band.

I also saw camille for the first time at the London Feis, managed to get front row up against the fence, she is amazing, actually makes eye contact with the audience and knows how to work them, I shal definitely go see her again. Nosey

This is so deeply and ineffably moving. My now fiancée and I saw Camille and had a chat with her after her concert in the Sugar Club in Dublin in 2004/2005. That night, that venue and Camille have remained close to our hearts ever since. She has such an amazing grace about her presence, a gentleness and an elegance which is captured so magnificently here. This video is a wonderful surprise. Thank you to the person who passed this on to us.

Just seen camille in edinburgh. never been to a show before that made me cry laughing one minute then be brought to tears by incredible singing so full of emotion the next. Amazing performance turned me to jelly. Camille you have a fan for life.

I've seen Camille perform this song at the labadoux folk festival @ Ingelmunster Flanders Belgium last night. It really gave me goose bumps. She is such a great performer and she really had the audiance enthralled. Way to to go Camille, burn all those bridge down!!!. In 2010 I got strained in Tokyo - so I had a lot of time on my hand. It was the first I ran into the vids of Camille. Her stage performance I included in a song called "Seven" (2nd part of the lyrics) to express my admiration. Seven days I was stuck in Tokyo due to an Iceland Volcano. Salmo
