So true that people are behind the King and very appreciative of Queen Camilla's efforts. I'm a former political staffer in a Commonwealth country where the monarch is the head of state. I came to realize that a constitutional monarchy is the best form of democracy yet invented when that system prevented a disgraceful political coup that no one in the country actually wanted -- and which couldn't have been prevented in a republic. God Save the King and Queen and the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Camila is the true queen of King Charles. Woman who makes things happen without burning out the king's spotlight

Nothing wrong with camilla.strong ,loyal and never given interviews for dirty money.

What is Ingrid on about? Camilla is doing what she has done for decades as a steadfast supporter of the Monarchy, if anything less so now due to age ailment limitations. To put it in perspective, in her 60s Camilla and Charles did the majority of the long haul Royal travel, her total engagements sometimes rivalled that of Charles and Anne and were more than William, Catherine and Harry combined and she still topped those of William, Catherine and Sophie and was on par with Edward last year. (not that engagements is the only measure of work, just the measure Ingrid focused on). Most of her engagements, like those of the skeleton Royal crew, have been solo and hers are particularly involved.

King Charles shouid give up especially with hes cancer

Catherine is undergoing *preventative* cancer treatment which is different to chemotherapy. I know, I have cancer and despite weekly treatments in hospital, I conduct a very comfortable and painless life. For HM King Charles to be back, these are wonderful news. It is the best thing he can do to be with his community, the Commonwealth representatives - all of us.

This is normal with Chemo and the body battling for health. You need a much higher calorie intake and chemotherapy can come with loss of taste, nausea and so on. As long as the weight does not drop too much everything will be fine.

Yeah, being Queen Consort has alot of responsibilities that go with it. Only the strong survive. Maybe Queen Elizabeth might have had some complaints too, sometimes, but her love for her people and the world, kept her going. And definately her strong sense of duty!!! I guess being a queen (an effective queen), is something that you really have to love doing, and not be just because it was handed to you, by commission or of default. And it's certainly not to be used as a source of power and control. (Or abuse of power and control). I'm sure that Queen Elizabeth knew and understood about power, so I'm glad that Elizabeth had the power for so long, because it can be a dangerous thing in the wrong hands! 😲

Those within the Royal Family that have taken up the slack while King Charles has been undergoing treatment are doing a splendid job. I'm hoping the Palace schedulers and advisors are also doing a splendid job delaying those appearances they can and grouping/shortening appearances that have to be attended so everyone isn't running their legs off. Queen Camilla's dedication has been proven and, again, schedulers need to be sensitive to her limits and needs so that she can serve and still provide the very important support and comfort her husband absolutely needs during his cancer treatments. I'm almost 70 and I can tell you, you have less than HALF the energy at 70 than you had at 35. God Bless and protect the Royal Family; may He grant them full healing and keep them strong.

Grow up. First off, Diana cheated first. Yes, Charles always had feeling for Camilla, but he respected his marriage and didn’t cheat until Diana did. Secondly, they all are guilty of adultery, so why is Camilla the only bad person here? Thirdly, it was Diana who wanted the fame, title, glitz and glamour, Camilla just wanted the man. She never cared about being Queen, that’s some infantile fairy tale that Harold cooked up in his mind that she’s some ‘wicked stepmother’. Just because his mother and wife were ambitious, doesn’t mean Camilla is. She would have clearly preferred a quiet, privileged country life with the man she loves, but she’s been steadfast, loyal, and incredibly supportive for him, even when the public were scathing about her. Diana was in competition with him, Camilla stands by him. She was the woman he needed. Diana’s attractiveness and clever manipulation of the media has fooled the public into believing she was some poor naive waif when she was actually pretty terrible. I encourage you to read The Housekeeper’s Diary if you want an impartial view of what happened in that marriage. Diana doesn’t come out smelling like roses, I’ll tell you. She weaponized not only the media and her own popularity against Charles, but also their own children in her petty attacks. I don’t think everyone or anyone is an angel in all this, but I think people should have a much more nuanced and unbiased perspective on everything that happened. Diana’s death was horrible and never should have happened and she did do good charitable work, as has Charles who has helped over 1M people with The Prince’s Trust and was a fierce environmentalist way before it was taken seriously or considered important. But that doesn’t mean while Diana was living she was a particularly nice person behind her facade of glamour and philanthropy. She could also be pretty demanding and emotionally manipulative to her own staff… maybe that’s why Harold doesn’t mind that his wife is also an ‘alleged’ bully. William got all of her good qualities, but Harold inherited all of her worst ones. If you want to blame anyone for Harold’s appalling behaviour look to Diana who gave him the blueprint.

They keep everything close to the cuff, every last one of them. Even these spokesmen who are "close to. the royals" do not really all that much; most of them have an agenda, including the press. Thankfully, I don't live under a monarchy, thankfully, so I am not part of all the gossip and I don't like gossip or drama.
