As much as a trainwreck this conversation was I do agree with Cameron's point about body hair and how you should base your decision of what you're gunna do with it on what you want, and not on people/changing societal trends. I just wished she framed it better and also not touched Richard's hair like that. All the extra attempt at humour took away from her point.

Cameron is a total sweetheart. I used to work in the movie industry in LA many years ago. I was a set medic. My first time meeting Diaz was on Charlie's Angles. She was super nice, super funny, and very polite and respectful to ANYONE. Drew Barrymore was as well. Lucy Lu and Bill Murphy absolutely hated each other on the set. In fact, one time, they got into it so bad, the 1st AD cleared the set and had everyone leave the studio to the outside while Barrymore and another producer work mediate the situation. But back to Diaz, she was so funny and always, and I mean always witty. Good memories working on that feature.

she's mental. I realized in this interview that she is in character roles usually; she knows 'drama' (not in the good sense) so well that she can hijack any scene to make it all about her. Richard studied law and theatre, and he's an on-fire comedian. Cameron Diaz graduated high school with Snoop Doggl Famous for being photographed nude. She is a disgusting display of narcissism and typical of Hollywood. Hollywood does not represent America.

I thought exactly the same. People with curly hair already get their hair touched by strangers, without asking, just because the stranger wants to know what it feels like to touch it. @@ThomasJ502 I have to accept your point of view. It never struck me that way. I've been in situations with certain people & that would not have been a problem. But it was not strangers together in front of a few million other strangers. I was quite shocked when I read about a lady w afro hair who found it insulting if someone reached out & touched her hair because they liked it or were curious - there was no mention of pubic hair, just the liberty of touching. I found that odd as to me it was a compliment. People have touched my hair but not in the context of pubic hair. I have to defer to your opinion, however, I can perhaps imagine myself in the past doing that without thinking- to touch someone's hair, as I might their jacket, & say how much I liked it. But in this day & age I wouldn't, & if I ever had done that & it offended someone, I would be deeply upset that my "liking" in an innocent manner was offensive. Sometimes taking offense can be an offense in itself. Sometimes. I can understand about the pubic hair, yet I can also see it as a non-offensive joke between people who are comfortable w each other. Sometimes it depends on the people in the situation, their relationship & personalities. But I defer to you & understand the offense as racist because of the mention of pubic hair. I remain 50/50 about whether it's offensive to reach out & touch someone's hair - it's incorrect in this day & age but doesn't offend me personally.

But the trend for both men and women to remove all their pubic hair over the past 25 years or so has resulted in the near-extinction of pubic lice and scabies.
