Came-Mini | BMPCC | Lumix 20mm | Osiris LUT

Музыка

Just a few clips filmed on the beach in Aberystwyth. Testing the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera with a Lumix 20mm on my new Came-Mini 3-axis Gimbal. I added the M31 Oriris LUT (which is a brilliant LUT package for anyone wondering) and a touch of grain from Film Convert to finish it off. It's edited in a bit of a 'movie trailer style' but there's not much of a narrative. Focus is a bit naff at time because I'm still trying to get used to the set-up. Enjoy!

I'm deciding whether to get a bmpcc or a gh4, I love slo motion but the colours from a bmpcc are so gorgeouse

Awesome footage! I've read that it's best to expose to the right when shooting in raw, but have found better results exposing in the middle for prores. How did you expose this shot? Expose in the middle? I love Sususmu Yokota btw (and live in Japan! haha)

+Dogen shoot in 400 iso when shooting pro rez. I find shooting in RAW is a huge waste of time and effort for such little improvement over pro rez.

+Elliott Mclaughlin Without a doubt. I upgraded from a 550D, but have also had some experience with 60D, C100, HVX-200, AF101 and I think this beats all of them, especially with the Metabones Speedbooster. Though as great as it is, my friend has two Sony FS-5 cameras, which makes me a bit jealous :P

+yodam moux the came-mini is a gimbal stabilizer and it stabilizes the footage when u shoot... thats how he gets the smooth movement

+Lonnie Booth I think I might've had a 1% Warp Stabilizer, the rest is just the Gimbal :)

Ben Grantham hehe sweet. I could tell it was warp stabiliser because of the slight wobbling of the floor at 0:38.
