The OL was so good that year. They may not have had long NFL careers but they were all grown men. Any college team would love to have that OL even now

Literally just watch the greatest college football player I've ever seen. And bro came to the league and got busy too! Rookie of the year MVP, superbowl appearance. People really be sleep on dude total body of work. It's literally one of the best ever. And had he won the superbowl and played longer it would be the best college to NFL player.

This season , vince young in 2005 and burrow in 2019 the best seasons ive ever seen and this auburn team went undefeated and played against a clemson team outa conferance also with a bunch of nfl players

i was at the clemson auburn game that next year and clemson beat them and i rubbed it in my uncles face who took me to the game (he is an auburn fan) 😂😂

2010 was my first year properly watching Auburn football at only the age of 6. I remember to this day him high fiving me in the tigerwalk against Clemson. Looking back now, my young self didn't quite comprehend what I was watching. I was watching a man single handedly take an 8-4 team to an undefeated national championship and make top college and NFL athletes look average. To this day it I say it is the greatest season I have ever witnessed as a quarterback.

Watching Cam Newton is like watching Mario. They both be flying.

The only player to get drafted from this Auburn squad other than Cam was Nick Fairly. A d-tackle who lasted just over five seasons in the NFL. Cam carried that entire program to a title. Maybe the greatest single-season QB performance in the history of college football.

Man this team took 20 years off my life. Just about every game was exciting / back and forth. I’m an old Pat Dye hard Auburn fan grew up in the 80’s which was magical as well. I love this team though and Cam was just amazing! #wareagle

Game changer!

Better than any season Tim Tebow ever had. Tebow could never. Florida was loaded with talent offensively and defensively. You see how his career turned out in the NFL. Single handedly the greatest season by a QB to date in college football. Considering every team they beat that season. The comeback from being down 24-0 in the Iron Bowl game is the reason Cam Newton currently has the best college season for a QB. Don't give me numbers. Give me results. He got it done.

Auburn was loving him all year like Carmello as a Freshman

I remembered this season well and I forgot how close that National Championship game was. That one still gotta hurt for Oregon fans although Auburn lost a close one since this to FSU and Oregon has lost several big games after this one.

For the brief time Cam was at UF, it's mind blowing how Urban Meyer had him 3rd on the depth chart behind John Brantley. It's just as bad as Dan Mullen keeping Kyle Trask behind Felipe Franks and it taking a season ending injury to Franks for Trask to eventually become a Heisman finalist.

Now there's not but back then there was. It's common sense that if you have 2 high powered offenses playing against each other that the defenses most the time won't be able to stop them. Defense stopped being a thing by the 2019 thing.
