Great react! The guy who started the song is Tim Foust......the bass. He has a 5 octave range and showed some here. Remember back to the last note in Ring of Fire. Adam Chance is the baritone who sang bass on this one. Adam Rupp was on point with the beatbox to the point he sounded like a human drum kit. Rob Lundquist (beard) has such a pure voice it’s amazing and Austin Brown the high tenor has such a powerful voice. The five of them really are perfect together. Can’t Stop this Feeling and Castle on the Hill are still favorites of mine and would love to see your reaction to them. Please keep them coming. Your commentary is awesome.

The stomping was a beat and the beatboxer really does sound like a drumkit, he can even do the brush on a snare sound, all of them are amazing. The bass was singing tenor here also which is very hard for a bassman to do, but Tim has a 5 octave range. The baritone, Chance, was singing bass in this also so I liked the way they switched it up. Yes PLEASE do Life Is A Highway next!

Btw, the guy who sang in the opening is their bass, while the guy who sang bass is their baritone. Just a testament to the crazy vocal range in this group!

I really liked your remarks at the end of the video because they proved how much attention you pay to both the song itself and the video (and I always appreciate when reactors tell us a little more about how they felt, what they enjoyed, what they really liked etc). However, I'm a little sad that Mayday was suggested to you so early in your HF journey since you still don't know much about the individual members, so unfortunately, you weren't able to notice (or appreciate) that Home Free's bass Tim Foust (who starts the video) is actually singing tenor in his verse and then tenor and baritone harmonies throughout the rest of the song. I was happy that you noticed Chance's low note (he's usually HF's baritone but he sang bass here). I hope you won't misunderstand what I'm trying to say because it's truly nothing against you. It's more that I personally always try to suggest this video later (when reactors know a little more about each HF member) because I so enjoy watching them getting gobsmacked by the part reversal in this song (Tim singing high and Chance going really low). :) Btw, the building they shot this in was a reconstructed mill (if I remember it correctly). And I can't wait for your reaction to HF's rendition of Life Is A Highway. ♥

Thank you so much for such a kind comment! We always like to incorporate our thoughts about the videos at the end because usually we have a lot to say! We definitely plan on watching more of their videos which will hopefully inform us more about each member. We appreciate letting us know about the location as well; it was definitely a very well picked spot! Much love from us 😊❤️

Yes I agree, May Day is usually better appreciated after more Home Free videos. You can learn to appreciate who sings what. The first singer (Tim) is there "Bass" man. He has blown out speakers at concerts he goes so low. To hear him sing Tenor just shows his vocal range which is 5 octaves. Anyway, you guys are very perceptive, and we appreciate your attention to detail.

I love how y'all notice all the little things that make their songs & videos special! Their locations are always spot on, & they do incorporate effects that other a capella groups normally don't do like whistling, stomping, or yelling "Hey!" (ref'g a song they did on the Sing Off), etc. And, most of their videos tell a story to match the song as well. Since you've just begun the Home Free journey, y'all haven't had the chance to see that yet. But you can tell & appreciate all the attention & quality they give to their songs & videos, whether it is an emotional or a silly fun song. They make you 'feel' each song in one way or another & take you on a ride in each one. You'll love "Life Is A Highway"!! I hope you'll consider "Hillbilly Bone" too! Thx for your great reactions! I really enjoy them!!

Y'all definitely deserve all these good comments!!! Another song that really tells a story with a video to match is their, "I Can't Outrun You". Chance (baritone), takes the lead & he also came up with the video concept & directed it! Cool! Warning... It's a heartbreaker!! But it's also very good!!

For me it's the most epic cover they've ever made. They've released album "Timeless" on September, now we have January and this song still bring a smile on my face. It's amazing, they did an incredible job with this one. As always, to be honest. There's no matter which song you choose next (after Life is a highway), every one is great. But I can recommended something older: - What we ain't got - Fishing in the dark/Boondocks

That was pretty good guessing on the building. I believe it was an old, renovated factory, or mill, or some such. I love the camera work in the beginning, that makes you see the "ship" swaying. I believe that's exactly what they were trying to convey...a sinking ship. ;-) Glad you are doing Highway soon. I'll be watching. Thank you!! Love your reactions! I'd love for you to get to know them a bit better by going back to their Sing Off videos with the judges remarks and comment on them. It takes you through their journey up to being on the Sing Off. Season 4 (the year after PTX won). I wish one reactor would actually do the journey of their songs from their oldest to present. It really show just how much they have grown over the years. If you subscribe to their channel you can start with their announcement video that they are going to be on the SingOff and work your way up. I love their older ones .. Wake Me Up, Hunter Hayes Medley, etc. Just a suggestion ;-) Thanks again! Look forward to your next one!
