Were the headers 3 inch converting to 2.5 at the axle? Or were your billy boat bullets 3 inch? I have the b&b axle back bullets that’s 2.5. Thinking about kooks 3 inch headers and x pipe and wondering if I will notice gains if I don’t switch the axle back to 3 inches. By the way, I went with the same audio setup and the sound is great.

My c6 is literally identical to this. I love it. Literally same wheels red calipers lol

strangely low torque numbers. I wonder if your tuner did enough for mid range timing...You should be into the 400's with that cam and long tubes. A FAST102 or ported stock intake will make a huge difference also.

I have. 2007 c6 base. 55k miles. With only a a axleback, what should I do to get some good results? Or should I just leave it alone if it’s too risky for the engine to handle. My cars oil temp already runs threw the roof

Rylan Scott not sure why you think I sold the vette. I still have it and love it!! I absolutely 100% do not regret the stage 3 cam. Haven’t had 1 issue.

I like you choice on parts. I hate to ask what may be basic questions, but: How much did all that work cost? Where is that shop located? Sorry if that info was in your video, I may have missed it. Those numbers are really impressive for an LS2, thus I'm hoping for a tad more out of the LS3 (M6), but we'll see. Also an obviously stupid question, but it does matter: How bad did that cam hit/hurt your gas mileage? Performance comes at a price, and I'm happy to pay the price, as long as it's not a ridiculous hit. I may opt for the stage 2 cam to try and save some of that, since I do take trips, but we'll see. Hope for a reply. Thanks.

The Cam, springs and ATI damper plus install was 3K. Not really sure about the gas mileage... Unfortunately I didnt have very long to enjoy it before winter. I dont think it will affect mileage that much. The shop is located in Demascus MD. My advice, get the stage 3....the car really drives stock other than a lot more power when I hit 4K RPM and beyond....thats when it takes off...

Sick man.i got a c6 z51. And have nice exhaust it sounds ok but. I think I want to cam it out.

JeremyRodriguez1 c6 vettes have a known issue with the harmonic balancer. They regularly fail and start to wobble which is not good for the engine. The ATI supper damper resolves that issue and insures the cars engine runs smoothly and lays down power the way it’s supposed to.

zane hill I got what came with the stage 3 cam kit at BTR.

I've been looking for comparable builds to my own. I have almost the same setup. However, with your camshaft and CAI, I also did a FAST 92 ported intake, Ported and milled 243 heads, 1 7/8th headers, and Thrush mufflers. I did 493rwhp.

@@CorvetteFanMD LS2. 2005 C6 M6 car. I've had the BTR STG 3 camshaft in 2 other LS2 cars now and it's just the best. I actually pulled a Vengenace racing cam OUT of my old GTO to stick a BTR one in. Great street manners if you can tune decently. I ended up at 28 degrees of total timing with a 12.4 AFR after peak torque. 93 pump gas daily driver car.

I've been considering doing this cam. I have an 05 C6 with ls2, manual trans, headers, and corsa exhaust and Callaway cold air. I'm curious, what kind of mileage do you pull with this setup you have? Good street manners you say, No bucking at highway speeds? Highly recommend?

Not sure about that. That C6 I had was not a Z06. Just a base.

When you install a whatever stage cam right after that what else has to be changed ?? I mean in the engine ... Tune up is a must but what else

Depending on how big of a cam you go with I’m doing a BTR stage 4 cam and you can run stock lifters but Chan’s springs and push rods. I have an automatic transmission too so u have to go bigger on your torque converter I’m going with a 3,800 stall I don’t take it to the track but if you do you can go up to a 4K stall 3800 is the lowest you want to go with so you don’t have serges that makes your car pull at a light

duckzor nothing, it’s just a reinforced replacement damper from the shitty GM stock one, wich was pretty bad, they broken everytime in tons on c6

At the speed of life the rotors are stock for the Z51. The red calipers I got from someone in PA that powder coats them. I swamped my Grey ones out for the red ones.

BTR Stage 3. Manual

Ls2 got the smaller cam and not very good intake manifold had they used the bigger zo6 cam and ls6 intake manifold from the factory it would have been a beast that's why they react so good to camshaft upgrades beside everything else is already done

Jim - I went to the track on the very last night of the season and I'm embarrassed to say that I ran a 12.7. I assure you that it is 100% driver error...LOL. It was my first time at the track. I will probably get new shoes this spring and go back.... I know I can get in the 11's.

FuryTheRT cam kit was $600 I think. Plus I upgraded the Harmonic Balancer with an ATI Super Damper.

Actually a stock LS2 motor produces 400 crank HP...after the mods it was producing over 500 to the crank. I never did a base line dyno with the stock motor but 450 WHP is about 515 Crank HP. About 115 HP gain. It was a great car and I loved it.

the ls2 intake is not a good intake ,the price of a fast 92mm intake would have been worth the power gains

Bro it's got an exhaust an cam. They don't over heat your engine. Unless your running more timing ect. But that's why professionals tune them.
