Joe always said the Eubanks fight was his toughest but I say this Robin Reid fight was no walk in the park either. Robin was a great fighter who didnt always get the credit he deserved either. Two great fighters here.

The best one who stand toe to toe against Calzaghe

Calzaghe lost an awful lot of brain cells in this one.

Round 11. That's when Calzaghe won the fight. He was struggling, then took that round. Plus the point deduction. To be honest, Reid should have had two points taken off him, he tried every dirty trick in the book.

Calzaghe absolutely had a chin of pure granite. Reid was a formidable boxer at this point - any of those punches would have spelled disaster for most opponents.

Reid never reached the levels of success that froch and calzaghe did on the boxing scene

He was robbed badly out in Germany. If he had beaten Ottke it would have changed his career and he wouldn't have had to travel for the shorter purses etc.

Reids punches were catching chalzaghe Clean what a strong chin chalzaghe has also holding on Reid after them blows shows experience. but I think Reid edged this fight it was a excellent fight

Calzaghe has a great chin but will always be remembered as the greatest ever slapper they probably based the street fighter character ehonda on him. Quick slaps. What a clown.

I wouldn’t say clearly, I had Reid winning it by just one round (including his point reduction), but yeah, no way Joe won it, at best a draw.
