Great clip once again,Steve chuck those shooting sticks in the creek,get yourself the primos trigger sticks ,very quiet, very height adjustable, light weight and stable ,guaranteed you will not miss another fox like that.🐺

I never missed the fox I aimed at that was another fox in the grass beside him that ran off and I only missed him by a bees dick. I have had a look at those Primos sticks and I am sorry but I would take the Steady Stix every time. Far lighter and do the job well. Just drop them out of the way if not required as I really only use them if the foxes sit back a fair way.

G'day guys, I love all of your videos and hope you continue to make lots more. Not only is the technical info so good, but the quality of the filming is excellent. Above all, the camaraderie between the two of you is very special.......keep it up. I have lost my two hunting mates to ill health, so treasure what you have and keep the videos coming.

Comments like yours make what we do even more worthwhile and they are very much appreciated. Sorry to hear of your losses and I understand how much of a hole it can leave in your life. We do treasure every moment and having memories recorded were one of the original reasons for starting to make these videos. Sharing them so far has been also a pleasure.

Forgot to mention, the primos trigger tripod also can be used for your camera stand. I cannot rate them enough will not go shooting without them, anyway great clips keep em coming.

Gee that's a sweet set up hunting quad mate, I just got back from a trip out towards Goondiwindi way, shot a few foxes whilst out looking for pigs, I made a short vid of the trip if your bored and want to check it out one day, lazy day today at home by the fire watching some hunting clips, missed these older ones of yours, good viewing 👍

Cheers Mark. Deer hunting or sitting by the fire are two good options in this weather. This is my forth quad over the last 20yrs or so which were all setup for hunting/spotlighting. So when I bought this one I wanted to spend the time and get it exactly how I wanted it. G'Day fellas, I been a keen hunter for over 40 years. I especially like taking foxes, In winter I used to take the full hide and tan them. I am inquisitive as to why you skinned the head. Obviously if you wanted the full fur you would have taken it but why just the head. Cheers..

Our State government pay a $10 bounty on foxes. At the moment it is for scalps and some years it is for tails. We also have a $120 bounty on Wild dogs but you must take the scalp through to the tail in one strip.

They are “Stoney Point Steady Stix” but I’m afraid they are no longer manufactured 🙄. Primos and Cabelas make similar 👍

Why in the hell shoot at a fox free hand then to shoot at them running. All you have done is just educated them so they will never come to a whistle again.
