COD ww2 was a good game with a good story, character, character development, world development. You can see how at first they were pretty excited and joking around in the first few missions but near the end when people start to die they begin to realise the horrors of war

The game hasn't came out in some parts of the U.S and this guy already completed the game.

In my opinion this cod had the most emotional story, it was heart touching if you like to play campaigns not only for the shooting. Obviously, Mw2 and others had very satisfying stories, but this one was like a movie about war, well made with a lot of messages = )

Unfortunately, this game was a perfect example of how “it got good too late” pretty much right when fortnite peaked

The part where Daniels and Stiles are documenting the camp gave me chills, which is not usually a reaction CoD provokes in me. It was also good they didn’t turn it into a shooting level, as that would have felt disrespectful I think. Instead they just let you walk through the camp, reflecting on the evil we’re capable of committing.

I cried walking through it and I made Daniels stand there to allow me to take a moment for emotion. 5 years on and I still don’t forgive the Holocaust for betraying me like that because I thought the Holocaust was on my side, it gave me advice when I felt down but I wished I’ve known earlier that all this advice the Holocaust gave was a trick. I’m glad I was brave enough to tell the Holocaust what it really was but I still feel really awful that all the innocent Jewish people had to suffer for nothing

I also cried because I played that level the same year the Holocaust betrayed me. I forgave it and said “what did you do that for? You are always on my side no matter what” I regretted it a year later

I think this is the only COD campaign that didn’t have a main villain that you kill in the last mission and it worked so well.

This always makes me cry no matter how much i watch it

say what you want about this game, the campaign was better than perfect, it show the horrors of WWII and what every impact made. Brothers in arms, brothers till the end. Definitely the best campaign within the Call of Duty franchise.

The collisions with the trucks look like something out of a 2004 game lol

Gotta be honest but this is probably one of the most underrated CoD endings out there

This campaign made me feel so much while playing it and the final cutscenes just flat out made me tear up this was such a great story told insanely well, great job COD.

Damn, that last scene nearly made me emotional.

Something I’d love to see is a COD Vietnam campaign where you play as Daniels Son where the story starts in the mid 60’s, The Daniels family now lives in California (Zussman is there as well, and he has a son as well) and enjoys a good middle class life, Daniels JR has graduated high school and is enjoying his early adulthood and is loving the prosperity his country has endured the past 20 years, to when he gets drafted, to basic training, to deployments and combat to the end of the us involvement and his return to a different America, all with his buddy (Zussmans son) and his family with him all the way, the storyline and format would be very different as well, because you have story starting in America in a relatively peaceful situation, this would be (in my opinion) way better then any Hollywood movie based on ‘nam. Who would want to see something like that?

It's Call Of Duty. Vanguard was crap and inaccurate. I don't want to imagine how they would handle a Vietnam war game.

A great ending. One of my favorite endings in Call of Duty.

@ghost special ops I clearly fucking did m8 Them campaigns were mediocre and the writing was predictable at best, this had something proper going on, Black ops 1s campaign is firmly behind this one, then whichever modern warfare ya like

Whiterun Guard they were good especially the endings

I love this game it thought me a important lesson “Never leave a man behind”

I feel like for Call of Duty Vietnam War the baby (Joseph) who is the son of Daniels and Hazel should be the protagonist for Call of Duty Vietnam War, its the year 1966 and Joseph graduated High School but somehow got drafted into Vietnam but also Stiles, Zussman, Aiello, and Pierson had sons who were born after WW2 in 1945 and 1946 who end up becoming supporting characters for Joeseph and none of them die and all survive together.
