Call for Australians to ‘go and tell’ Albanese off for ‘nature-killing’ wind turbines

Former deputy prime minister Barnaby Joyce calls on the Australian public to “go and tell” the Albanese Labor government how “happy” they are over the push for renewables.
“I hear the prime minister and I think the enlightened Minister Bowen are going up to announce a swindle factory, so I say to the people … go down and say g’day top them,” he said.
“Tell them about how happy you are about the tens of thousands of kilometres of transmission lines.
“The nature-killing wind turbines.
“The carpeting of black over our environment with solar factories, go and tell.”

Mr Joyce stood idly by whilst Mr Morrison signed us up for the economically destructive delusional insanity of Net Zero. The LNP needs to make it their official policy to withdraw Australia from the Paris Accord, repeal the renewable energy targets legislation and use the most economical energy resources available.

The silicon ingots are actually made from high quality mined quartz as there are variable impurities in sand. Metallurgical grade coal is also an essential ingredient along with coking coal, hardwood timber chips and charcoals. The panels that we purchase are cheap because they are made predominantly utilising coal-fired power plants and furnaces. There are three thermal processes necessary to make these silicon ingots and just one of the processes requires the heat to be held at 1100C for five days. And Albo thinks we can make them with wind and solar. What a joke.

Thanks Barnaby, for speaking up loudly about this. It is absolutely absurd to think this is going to be a good thing for Australia. All the money going straight to whatever country that make these solar panels, and at the same time the loss of hundreds or thousands of jobs lost for Australian workers that run the coal powerplants. But yeah that's right some people don't care a crap about Australian people that have spilt their blood and tears to keep the lights on for many years, and now you're selling out to another country for the inferior quality compared to our useable and mostly reliable power that we have already. And all the while we will still be digging coal out of the ground to sell/export to the country that is making the solar panels. That's right, our coal goes to china to power the factories that make the solar panels. It certainly doesn't make sense to me, and what i have come to realise is that if I'm thinking like this, then many thousands of people around the world are thinking the same as me. Wake up Australia and the world, on many levels.

Oh Please... let's take a trip down memory lane as Barnaby obviously has amnesia since his last fall from grace. In 2002 the Renewable Energy Act was bought in by the Howard/Anderson, this act created a honeypot subsidy environment where those companies’ building turbines are paid between $600K - $900K per turbine per annum to companies wanting to build wind turbines, in just this subsidy alone. o If they want to build one on a farmer’s property, the company will negotiate a lease with the farmer that making the farmer total liable (fires) for the turbine for this the farmer gets $12,000 per year from the company the rest the company takes off shore. o This subsidy is reaming $40B per year out of the Australian economy and is paid by ALL Australians via our power bills

Costs me a lot in donations. Wind is clean energy so an important resource.
