I vote for more "fictional" aquatic habitats next to this. It'd be very nice to see your take on otter and beaver habitats, maybe even drained pools or something that "feels empty" I think would add to Yosemite's background and we be like "oooh, context" haha

Honestly, I might be alone with this opinion but I'd love to see you/ and in general planet zoo builders, do more with concrete. It just looks way more realistic, animals don't usually have real rivers and ponds in zoos, so I'd love more habitats with concrete. I think especially big cats and bears in the first place have a lot of concrete in their habitats in real life. Really love hyper realistic habitats without crazy landscaping and everything, more man made stuff :)

Well you are not alone. I like them too BUT i miss good concrete pieces in the game. The in-game concrete is really white-ish. And then there is plaster hahah. If we get proper concrete I'll do more of that.

I'm with you on that, Rudi. We definitely need aquatic animals. Would also love to see actual aquariums! Maybe similar to the exhibits would be a way to do it. Oh well.

Otters, beavers, seals and penguins. Walruses would be nice too. The small animal exhibits could house fish, corals and jellies. Frontier could do a lot with things already in the game. A fish spawner for an animal enrichment would be nice. I hope there is an aquatic dlc just for this habitat! You rock as always.

You can add some fake seals if you Search Pippis at the planet zoo workshop. The habitat would maybe look a little bit nicer and not that empty! Looks great👍🏻

I love the habitat, it's like a smaller version of the seal/sea lion exhibit at my local zoo. Our zoo took in injured and disabled animals so they could live out their lives peacefully. We had a blind harbor seal that passed away a few years ago, but she lived a long happy life.

They should do an aquatic pack with sea lions, penguins, and dolphins and whales.

Whales? this seems unlikely if you're talking about gray whales and humpback whales :D Orca is the biggest species I can accept as whales. they are also a species of dolphin. :)

@@creepyjoe7621 Ow, there is no problem with those animals anyway. they will definitely be added to the game. There are also sea creatures such as Pilot-Whale, False Killer Whale. :) just because you said "whales", I thought you meant big whales. I said that the biggest sea creature that could enter the game might be the killer whale. Because the biggest sea creature in captivity is the killer whale. :) There is also whale shark, but it is a "fish". :) I would love to have a sea animals DLC come to the game as soon as possible. but because of land animals, I think sea animals will be added to the game too late.

A nice looking exhibit I have to say, I would never thinked of use the bamboo backwards as an underwater plant, you really always have creative ideas Rudi. I really like this exhibit and with the blue ground it really looks like a lagoon. The sea lion is one of the animals I would expect when we get a aquatic DLC and they fit to California as well, so a good choose for the exhibit ^^ So thank you as always Rudi for this episode and video, I see you in the next one :)

i think that seals would be a great addiction to the game!!! i love the idea! i totally forgot about them, they are such a zoo staple! such a good idea to do a habitat for them even if they aren’t in there yet

Since I'm still going to university I can't spend my money on supporting you, but I'm glad to help in this way. I would love to see like a african area which leads you across the whole continent since africa includes so many many countries, I feel like a lot of zoos forget about that. Or maybe taking just one or two countries or one nationalpark from the whole continent. Anyway enough input from my side

Have you heard of Oasis Park in Fuerte Ventura? I have been there three times now and I love it there! They do so much for animal welfare, the habitats are big and as natural as possible and they have great ways to let visitors have interactions with the animals (i.e. different shows, walkthrough habitats and you can buy food for certain animals: I LOVED feeding the giraffes!!). They have an area where the sealions can swim privately, but for the shows they have a big pool, slide, dive tower and a lot of seats for guests to sit and watch (with a roof, so you are protected from the sun). It's so beautiful there! It's the best zoo I've visited yet (haven't been to Paira Daiza yet, hahaha)! Love the naturel part of this habitat, the underwater plants are beautiful and terrifying at the same time! I hope they will add aquariums to the game, like the vivariums or something like that..

It's really pretty! It seems very thorough, and not barebones. One small thing is that the rocks on the front of the back building seem like they should be held up somehow? Like maybe by some beams?

I agree sooo hard, Marine animals are amazing and they should include them, not all, but the most common that are in ZOO's. Seeing your build makes me want them even more. My guess is that Frontier didnt include penguins in the base game or Arctic dlc cuz they want to add them into the bigger Marine DLC. But its just a guess in the end..

I love these sea lion habitat, I really hope we will get some of them. :-) I'm not sure if an african area will fit in these park, because all looks more green and wood like. But I will be exited to see what you will do.

The only critique I have is that most sea lion exhibits have rocky outcroppings in their pools for the sea lions to rest on as well, and there is usually some kind of large shade structure covering the entire exhibit. Still a great build though!

Love it! I think it's the best one in yosemite. I prefer the less natural area, because eit feels realistic. I'd out pygmy hippos here because they are most similar in size, and their skin is weirdly similar.

Rudi, how do you have the option to move those wall pieces like you do (the grey area with the fence) what are you using? When i try it, it doesn’t let me rotate the way you do whilst keeping it in one building grid :(

I just love it! this is definitely a habitat what you would see in zoo's. as I said: FRONTIER !!! i want aquatic animals !!! 😅😉 I love penguins, sea lions, manatees and of course dolphins !! I live near Nuremberg and in the zoo/tiergarten there they have all these animals. the dolphin lagoon is pretty cool and the manatee house has beautiful underwater viewing spots. My local zoo has an area like the old part of the habitat, though the real one has a rock arch in the center for the sea lions a seals to swim trough. It houses a California Sea lion and 2 Harbor seals, all injured and not able to be released.

@@RudiRennkamel We have not seen any improvement yet. The animals that are already in the game don't have water diving mechanics. I don't think that new mechanics have been added to the games after releasing Frontier games.
