Our first full day exploring San Fransisco, we rode the trolley from pier 39 to Union Square then headed to China Town for snacks, then had a wander to find the Mrs Doubtfire House.
We booked a night tour of Alcatraz with Alcatraz island tickets as we wanted to experience the extra parts of the tour only offered at night, the program included the recorded audio tour which is self guided and lasts around 2.5 hours, in addition to that there were parts of the prison open such as the hospital wing and also we had guides showing us around and telling some tales of inmates and the history of the island and buildings, including a couple of spooky stories.
