Just passed my CA DRE Exam on Nov 4th at the LA Palma location on the first try. My advice is to know your vocabulary to decipher the tricky questions. Watch videos over and over.

@daintydeandre9334 It was challenging. About 20-30 questions were simple (basic study will cover it). Then, about 20 or so questions give you a scenario to answer, which was a little difficult because I had to read it over a couple of times to comprehend what it is asking for. It remind me of the DMV test. The rest, I guess! Lol. And prayed! Good news. I passed!!! However, I had to get the result the following day online. For everyone who is studying, I had purchased an audible called "California Real Estate License Exam AudioLearn" that comes with a follow-along PDF. Very helpful in addition to watching these videos.

I am scheduling my exam for next month July and I really would like to also pass on my first try because I have been struggling with finding work for a while and really want to build a stable career with Real Estate. Hey Jason, please help. I submitted my application last week with my 3 school certificates but the DRE, do I wait for something in the mail before I can register for the test? Or are they supposed to email me or something so I can take the test right away? I want to take it right away and not wait 2 or 3 months

1:00:45 small but important correction on the math there. It's dividing 180,500 by 0.97 or 97%. You don't want to tell people that they're supposed to be dividing by 0.97% (as the text in the video said) as that would be dividing by 0.0097. For those who aren't strong in math (no judgment, just looking out) any number followed by % sign can be represented as that same figure with the decimal point moved 2 places left.

@@izney2870 I did pass! I have anxiety disorder and passed in 1 hour. Last one in, first one out. Key terms definitely help, but you need to look at paragraph questions which is majority of them, break it down to “who is doing what” and really understand what they are asking in the questions. Make sure you understand how property is transferred and types of real estate ownerships (joint tenancy, tenancy in common, condominiums) and also any answers that involve 60 days 90 days or years

Real estate exam 100 questions review. I have a question regarding studying for the exam. It has been to truthful with the Knowledge of real estate. Especially within my family; My Question are with not having a will. The answer state escheats to were the property would go back to the state. With my dad being a veteran and him not having a will. If he passes first I don't like arguments and people wanting salivating for his property. This is one major reason for returning to real estate. Producing income is my focus for me and my 3DAUGHTHERS. Especially after my dad passes. Which clearly spoke to me about today. He my dad wants me to stay here. I have 3 daughters to provide for. And once he passes away I already see the unethical friends and family.wanting for mess.

Are these questions similar to the broker exam or completely different?

These questions seems like softballs. Too easy. I hope the test is this easy because I will accidentally get a 100%

Question # 24: the answer is Mortgage Insurance Premium (MIP) if down payment is less than 20%. PMI is for Conventional Loans (if down payment is less than 20%). Question # 35: the seller owes Paula's Brokerage a commission. The Seller pays the Brokerage, not Paula, almost always an independent contractor of the Brokerage. Question # 52: need to rephrase or clarify: assuming a Protection Clause of 45 days, Broker Doug was the original procuring cause. If he has documented proof of that, he will probably receive the commission in arbitration (assuming Broker Doug provided a prospective buyer list to the seller). Question # 72: is "satisfaction" not "stratification".
