I think it’s the phone. I have a iPhone 10 and it doesn’t work on that. But works on my wife’s iPhone 12 mini.

Are you only able to do this with a Samsung phone? I’ve been trying to get the colors on my Samsung AU7000 right for a few weeks and the option for the smart calibration doesn’t show up on the app. I have an iPhone. Any advice? Great vid by the way!! Super comprehensive!!

I think iPhones with Face ID are the only ones that are capable of Smart Calibration.

Yeah, that's what I am confused about... Others have this professional "something" option... Don't know why my option is only the basic calibration.

The second option is only for certain higher end tvs

My 77s95c is the top of the line 77" OLED of Samsung. If this is not one of the higher end TVs of Samsung then I should be returning this 🤣

Why can't do this with any Samsung smartphone? We must have an expensive smartphone like S series to do this? And YES all S series are expensive for us. We have already a Samsung Galaxy M23 of 2022.

I just did my QN90B last night. I originally had a Galaxy J3 (2018), but the Smart Calibrate option wasn't available. I wound up buying a refurbished Galaxy S10e off of A****n for $200 CAD, and $25 for a tripod. Phone looks absolutely flawless, and the Smart Calibrate works as well. It even had the HDR option... it was originally only SDR. SDR looks fantastic, and the blacks have actual separation. And HDR looks freaking amazing! I should have done this a year ago. 😋

terrible tool. first the callibration option did not appear for days. then all of a sudden it showed me the 2 options (basic and professional) i tried basic and it worked. now that i want to try again the professional option is gone. only basic shows. this app has a mind of it's own and looking at the responses i am not the only one. GIVE ME BACK THE PROFESSIONAL option

I've been wanting to try that Professional Option too. Unfortunately even before making this video, that option is not available in my app.

Same here. Got the tripod out to do the professional and don’t even have the option anymore… frustrated!
