Alright, classic Yardis scuff is coming into play, I remember or think up of ideas/thoughts as soon as I click upload... OKAY BUCKLE IN, I FORGOT TO INCLUDE A LOT OF STUFF BEFORE UPLOADING BUT I'M NOT TRYING TO GO BACK AND EDIT SO HERE WE GO: First I'd like to start with that I am not trying to demean/weaken/slander any of the current clears of Cirrus on KZread. I think they're very impressive. I actually haven't defeated Cirrus at all, even with cheese (way too much bs to deal with). In this video I just butcher + god mode and wait for her desperation phase to come then turn god mode off and try to dodge it all. Alas, I think we should always be actively pursuing challenges, so here is my contribution to the inevitable cheeseless Cirrus clear that will come some day. Hopefully those who are/were pursuing the first cheeseless Cirrus clear gain a bit of motivation to clear it or confirmation that it is indeed possible. I was going to include all of this mumbo jumbo in the video but decided not to because I think it would be a super boring video, both to watch and for me to make. Oh yeah... and I forgot to mention my equipment... here it is I guess: Reaver Armor, Asgardian Aegis, Celestial Starboard, Magiluminescence, Soaring Insignia, Angel Treads, Aero Stone, Portal Gun, and Soaring Potion (Also, weightless candles would make it even easier but I forgot to use it) Some random points and thoughts about clearing Cirrus no cheese: - By "no cheese" I'm not counting leaving the arena because I'm 98% sure it's not possible to beat Cirrus confined to her arena the entire fight - GP (yes, that GP) got Cirrus to desperation phase no cheese but died to random bottle laser (I have no clue about the specifics because I'm super inactive in the Calamity community LOL, doesn't help that I'm pretty "new" in the community) - I can do the desperation phase without cheese (albeit, not quite consistently yet) - Stefan, who was referenced in the video (and who doesn't get nearly enough recognition for his insane skill, so please check his channel out) has come very close to clearing without rod/recalling/teleportation potions. I think he could get the first no cheese clear if he reaaaallly wanted to. - Stefan's no-hit of Cirrus (again, check his stuff out: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZmGlu9iaY9HbYs4.html) only has rod usage and recalling at the end. If he found a way to dodge the final burst of Bumblebirbs without them, he could definitely clear Cirrus without cheese. - I have been theory crafting swapping loadouts at the end to maximize mobility, so I think it's kinda "easy" to dodge all of the gaster blasters if you use all the equipment I used and swap to it the second it starts. - Therefore, someone of comparable skill to GP or Stefan could likely clear it, it would just take a torturous amount of time and effort. If I forgot anything else (which is very likely, the Yardis scuff curse runs deep) I'll post some edits to this comment or reply to it or whatever.

Oops forgot to say that in the ending clip I'm obviously using the Soul of Eternity, so that I can showcase what Double Speed Cirrus' gaster blasters look like LOL (I don't think it's possible to dodge all of it)

😢 First thing I thought of when trying to beat Cirrus' final phase, if I could use severalfold projectiles I could make the circling even tighter and it'd look super freakin' cool man.

I use a lot of flight extenders: Soaring Insignia, Angel Treads, Aero Stone, Soaring Potion, Weightless Candles Sometimes the double speed boss I'm attempting is way too fast for Calamity gear, so I put on some Fargo's Soul's Mod's wings, which have infinite flight time. Most of my videos I'm solely dodging, not attacking, so I just wear fully mobility gear, not very practical in a real playthrough besides for the strategy I came up with near the end of the video. Lastly, I tap the jump key a lot, which creates an illusion of extended flight time. Flight time is only burned when you press/hold the jump key, so when I am spamming the jump key, I'm not actually wasting that much flight time.

Kinda hard to say, for enjoyment I find Melee to be the most fun, but for dodging/beating bosses I think Summoner is more effective. I like all the classes really.
