I'm certain he charged her for that cake it has been a cold day in hell because all he had to do was take it apart and he could have used it for someone else's cake she just spend extra money on her dumbass decision and a brand-new cake

A few years later, they did a behind the scenes type of episode, and Buddy said this woman called him after the wedding, apologized, and thanked him. I'm glad she did, just hell, the whole bridezilla thing gets me mad. You're getting married, just friggin be happy.

If that was my child I'd never stop telling that story whenever I met new friends of hers, they should all know how she can act.

However, if any of my customers ever treated me that way, I'd take the low road and show them the door. Also, she would have no cake at her wedding from my shop after that ignorant behavior. I remember this episode too well. Buddy kept his cool and handle her like a pro. He talked to the bride's mom and she was furious. She paid for both wedding cakes and the bride couldn't even show her face in the end. I wonder if the bride and groom is still even married.

This woman is lucky that she even got one cake let alone the second one. She so didn't deserve either of the beautiful cakes that Buddy made for her. The arrogance that came out of her throughout this was just disgusting. I can understand why Buddy kept his temper because 'business is business' but I wouldn't have been able to keep as calm as he did. All I can say is I feel completely sorry for her husband because she is one nasty piece of work.

I remember this one! I believe the mother was a very good customer of his and they went back a long time it. I think it was her the called and apologized and begged him to make a new cake. I think in the end she did pay for the 2nd cake.

At 1:16 there’s footage missing as the deleted scene in question was seen in the teaser for the episode that shows Buddy stopping her from trying to destroy the cake which explains why he has blue icing on his coat on the left shoulder.

The cake looked beautiful in the beginning.

Buddy did an excellent job remaining calm and courteous.

As a kid watching this, I was as as shocked and outraged as he was. Watching now, this is ABSOLUTELY scripted :((

@@violetwade6528 I think unless it was a real medical emergency, the camera crew are not allowed to interfere with what is happening. Sometimes producers may encourage stuff for tv but that is something I learned.

My mother and I always hope that her fiance demanded a divorce after this episode came out because he should have known not to marry someone who is a total brat

You gotta give the cake boss kudos for his patience. I would have delivered that cake to the wedding. She wanted to give him an art lesson and inspiration boom she gets the cake she ruined at his bakery.

This cake was much prettier than the other one. I absaloutly love this beautiful cake. And if i was getting married to my boyfriend I would so have this cake at my wedding.

Buddy kept his cool , that s a beautiful cake . I wish I could afford a cake from Buddy . Some people just don t appreciate anything .

I understand the frustration here but I also understand why he made her a new cake. He’s a professional, and delivering the ruined cake would be petty and only tarnish his name. But in making the new one, he gets to be the great guy that pulls through in the end. He’s the hero of his own tv show, of course he wouldn’t refuse her order or deliver the ruined cake.

The cake can still be saved. Just put it in a museum and call it art. Problem solved! :D

If I was buddy I would've kick her out of my bakery, if she tries to sue then good luck to her Buddy probably makes like $300k per episode.

When she said, "I' look forward to the cake." I would have _looked forward_ to bringing her the exact same one she ruined.

When he brought the new cake to the wedding, the bridesmaids and her mom were dressed in their wedding outfits and in the process getting their hair or makeup done while the bride was still in her street clothes texting on her phone the entire time. What the heck. Buddy is the BEST cake maker and decorator in this world. She was way out of line to do that and ruin a beautiful cake they made and took time to create. I could only dream to even look at one of buddy's cakes in person. He inspires me so much, and that is just so rude to do

The cameras are there. Plus it doesn't help the situation by yelling and making a big deal. It was the professional thing to do to keep calm.

Buddy was being too nice. If anyone did that to something I made, I would've been like "Here's your $ back, find someone else to make it. Good luck finding someone dealing w/ your "art lesson" & getting it done by tomorrow".

The best part is during her consultation the only color we saw her mention was black saying she wanted it to be fit for a funeral

She deserved to have the cake she ruined and not the awesome new one buddy made.

And what sucks is that her mom had to come back and apologize to buddy and was begging him to make her another cake! And he had to make another cake for this bridezilla. And when he deliver this cake she didn’t bother to say thank you, her mom was thankful.
