@@jean-paulbourgeois2871 been a fan of Meateater for years now. Rinella really got me pumped and introduced me to a great respect for the outdoor lifestyle. Man I've got to say, you guys are carrying that torch in a major way! I'm not a waterfowler, mostly a whitetail hunter up in MI, but I get the same vibes and feeling from your show that I get from my camp up here in MI. I share the connection that you guys have to the food that you harvest. You boys seem like a cool bunch. Thank you for making this content, it is truly something special man. 💪❤

"They" think we get together just to kill animals barbarically. "We" know it's all about that camp life and comradery. Too often we don't advocate for ourselves quite enough to show the true reasons for loving our hunting/fishing lifestyle.

Born and Raised in South Louisiana. This is exactly what duck camp is all about. Love it. Lifetimes of memories with family and friends. The abundance of wildlife is mind boggling and its less than it was 40 years ago. Back then the sky was dark with ducks. Big Mallard ducks.
Hell yes! Only complaint is it is not long enough!!!!!!
Nice group of fellas. Good food, good fun and good vid. Thank you.
I hesitated to watch this because I live in CO and am mostly a big game hunter but the way these episodes are produced and brought together make me want to head down to the bayou. Great show! It highlights what so important about hunting, the fellowship!
This is so good! Love seeing content from somewhere else in our great country and learning about their way of life. So many hunting shows focus on the same things, out west in the mountains, white tails in the midwest or hunting out of the country. We need more of this showing the different parts and lifestyles of our great nation! This right here is living.

I’m from Indiana so it’s super cool to see these guys embracing the pursuit of waterfowl and what not like I do the pursuit of whitetails and what not. Neat story and a good example of how we are all kinda the same
What a great episode. Looks like a blast, guys need this kind of thing.
The biggest difference between Netflix and KZread is consistency. On Netflix, the series can saunter and pick up views 24/7 On KZread, you have to have consistent uploads otherwise the channel will not grow. The consistency and quality of video series like this will undoubtably bring the Meateater KZread channel into a new age. Keep up the good work.
Besides Steve killing and cooking this my favorite show on meat eater hands down lol

Honestly... These days I am so torn. I live in Germany...I couldnt stand all these people telling you how to live, but at the same time there are people like you guys who I feel deeply connected to. Its so hard and expensive to get a weapons license here, in one of the countrys that once established carrying a weapon as the main factor that determines a man free. Every person should be able to kill his or her own dinner. This world is mad. You are a glimmer of sanity on the horizon.

I love this series. The people are awesome. Also my last name bushway is directly related to bourgeois Cajun line when the family fled Canada when Britain conquered Canada during the French Indian war. Some fled to French territory like Louisiana and kept last name, others fled to Vermont and changed their last name to a more English last name to survive.
