He’s so respectful, and he sits back while Caitriona takes the mic. He never interrupts or talks over her. She’s awesome...what else can you say? They make a good team.

I love that they are producers now as well! Think it’s so fantastic that they’re expanding beyond just being the actors.

Hopefully it’s more engaging than season 4. I found it pretty boring, and I felt Jamie and Claire were disconnected too. Even in season 2, Jamie went thru the ptsd, but they were still there for each other and I felt their love for each other.

S La I don’t know about their acting gotten better. I thought they have given 110% ever since season 1. The reason why I was hooked and love them as the characters they r portraying. Sometimes they just worked with the material they’ve given, it doesnt mean they are bad actors.

R i couldnt agree more. There r few “nice” moments, but it didnt make up how boring season 4 was. I skipped a lot of scenes (so that’s not a good sign). Sorry Stephen Bonnet, he’s just common bad guy like in any other movies/series. Now Black Jack, he’s something else! Loooooveeeee to hate him! 😄

I hope S5 is much better than S4. S4 was extremely uninspiring and it’s the only season I did not rewatch. It was painful to watch S4 and had to fast forward a lot of scenes. I hope they bring the magic back in S5...

Shalom H I have noticed that since they first started interviewing 6 years ago! Their publicist (???) or wardrobe person must do this. A couple years ago, I thought maybe their wardrobe coordination was a "couple thing", but alas it wasn't! She married someone else this past summer!

I feel like their story has become a little stale, I hope this season brings something new and fresh.

For me nothing has topped season one. I feel like Wentworth and Man's Soul were the pinnacle of the series so far. It also doesn't help there's no Tobias Menzies to elevate the work. Black Jack Randall was without a doubt one of the key elements of this series. Bonnet doesn't even come close to Black Jack.

@@diannebdee I totally agree, the characters of Frank and Black Jack are sorely missed. I feel Jamie and Claire's story is done, what else can they bring to it that hasn't been told and I'm not buying into Brianna and Roger because quite frankly Roger bores me. With all that being said, I am greatly anticipating the new season, I hope there's alot more of Lord John Grey.

The 3rd book was my least favourite, and the tv series changed writers then, which made it even less ideal. I haven’t even watched season 4 yet, even though I love the 4th book. I’ll buy the dvd, since I collect them all, and hope the writing for the series will improve. I know it cannot be exactly like the book, but in season 3 I found They spent too much time on things that weren’t that important, and then rushed some of the things that were more important, or left out things that could have made it more interesting. There are some really heartbreaking things in the 5th book though, I’m not really sure I want to watch them happening...

L N it is Season 5 premiering this Sunday 2/16. The series has been contracted for a 6th season next year though! Diana Gabaldon has said there will ten books; Book 9 'Go Tell the Bees That I am Gone' to be out on the market soon. (I have been waiting for the past year for that!) Hopefully there will be ten seasons on Starz!!!!!

@@nnekam6153 Exactly. When the show first started they were excited and new at the interview game - they were promoting an epic romance, so the interviews and editorials all promoted that. As the show has progressed, they've become more focused and also clearly didn't want it to just be sex and romance. But you're right, no anger. She doesn't talk down to him, she teases him like a sibling. People just wanted them to be a couple and come up with all kinds of "theories" why they aren't .
