    I am a big Caitlin fan however the media is treating her unfairly. Please let the young lady adjust to the pro game. Everyone is using Caitlin to monetize off her name and massive following. This is a lot of pressure on a 22 year old. People are playing race politics and putting her own peers against her. Stop this crap 💩! She is a once in a generation player who shooting and passing skills will modernize today’s WNBA. Take your emotions away and allow Caitlin to grow into her God given talent.

    @@chevyyyyyyy You could’ve led with “I didn’t know much about the WNBA” instead being disrespectful towards those other players given that they’ve made their own legacies even before CC laced up a pair of Kobe V’s. Like cool you’re a CC fan, but quit acting like those after-mentioned players were just some unknown people, just because you couldn’t have been bothered to watch. By the way I’ve been paying attention since the Houston Comets 4-Peat in from 97-00 with Cheryl Swoops and Cynthia Cooper.

    Not a CC fan yet, but that Curry style of play is exciting to me. She's playing better than her stats suggests. Her team is just bad. The coaching is bad. They miss so many open shots and take bad shots instead of passing. CC could have had double-digit assists in each game if the open player would simply shoot while open instead of passing.

    Gotta say it’s exciting to be part of the tsunami of male fans helping Clark sweep away the old WNBA. Clark and her fans are forcing the end of the WNBAs grievance/entitlement business model. You can’t really blame the players for being afraid of the change, they aren’t businessmen or objective thinkers except for Clark herself of course who appears to be both (unlike the executives of the WNBA). I have little doubt that Caitlin should also be commissioner.

    Game 1 - 13 uncalled fouls against Clark. Game 2 -16 plays Clark frozen out with no touch, sat a whole quarter. Every game - Clark face guarded and double-teamed like it's game 7, opponents screaming if they get a stop as if OT in the finals Final four '24- rabid Ucon fans bomb Iowa with death threats Final four '23 -"Coach of the Year" Dawn Staley says "We're not monkeys" to coach Lisa Bluder who coached the the least-starred team to reach the highest level with the highest efficiency offense; who never did or would say such a thing; Andrew just beats Staley with better coaching. Finals '23 - South Carolina players viral to LSU players Dawn Staley's framing that "Iowa is racist", they themselves then acting with the same bigotry towards Clark that Tiger Woods faced nearly 30 years ago. '23-'24 - The difference today: instead of nearly all of the public overwhelmingly rallying behind Clark, the way they did behind Tiger Woods, a huge faction is jumping on the "everything is about race" dei brainwashed cult bandwagon. Future Failure - The race-colored-glasses wearing Hive mind is incapable of basic logic which leads to self-sabotage and failure which will only lead to blame and then more failure and then more blame. REAL Culture is the Foundation - In all of this noise, too few have recognized that the entire Clark phenomena has been " about " Iowa - the state, the school, and the culture. Iowa has the deepest history of supporting women's basketball and the most loyal college fan base in the country. It's not even close. Iowans were supporting girls basketball tournaments with the same passion as boys back when it was 6 vs 6. Of course, in a culture where girls are never taught that they can't do anything a girl - with an average basketball body - would grow up believing that she can do anything and doing just that - setting every major record for the regular season, and the tournament, and taking the least-starred team the farthest, 2 years in a row, did anyone has ever done. The Iowa fans, like their coaches, exhibit the most enduring loyalty, win or lose. Iowa fans only expect two things, great effort, and loyalty. Also Iowa fans extend a warm ham of support to people of all backgrounds who would join their team or even engage them in good sportsmanship. This is why players, of all backgrounds, we'll save for the rest of their life that they feel like Iowa is their second home. Clark had the courage to buck the Monopoly talent pipeline and to remain with those who had built her up. These millions of Iowans then caused such a rise in ticket sales and viewership that Clark became a national phenomenon in college. Her Iowa buoyed popularity became a positive viral affect where non Iowans learned about Clark's unparalleled talent and good character. Now Clark has brought all of these fans with her to the WNBA, well, to the Fever. Courage us the Key- Every previous great player had the choice to try and build her own Legend at a unique school. They were just kids, so we let them off the hook, but their parents and mentors failed to see the obvious - just as it is with the night sky, a new star cannot be stabd out if it is behind a whole group of stars. If Paige Becker's had instead gone to Minnesota she would have built her Legend as big as Clark's with her talent buoyed on the support of millions of Minnesotan fans. Now they don't care about her because she didn't care that much about them. Instead she went to exhibit A: Ucon which has been killing the wbb competitiveness for years and only developed a small (yet rabid) fan base - failing to even transfer enough fans to the wnba, for all of their top players, to even sell out the same state Connecticut Sun or any other team with UCon players. A'ja Wilson had the same choice - to take the risk of building her own legend or to join a one of the few talent Monopoly front-runners. She made her choice and now has the results if that choice They all have. No one is inspired buy a player who signs up for sure trophies. People are inspired by unexpected underdogs who develop organically with a loyal team and do something both unique amazing. This is extremely rare and difficult to do, but Clark had the courage to try and do it, that most of all separates both her off the car and on the court choices. College is the WNBA Driver- if basketball players fail to develop a following in college, then they will fail to have a fan base and therefor fail to have market traction because the WNBA is not a positive part of the zeitgeist. Self-fulfilling Tragedy- today we have far too many people who mistake Manufactured Culture for real and Organic Culture. Instead of benefiting from being within a United States where people can look towards other states and learn from their strengths, and in this example learning from the great loyalty of Iowans, people are being led by the nose of a fake culture media machine that actually degrades them and then tells them that they can't learn from Iowans because Iowans are "too white!" People have a choice, whether or not they see it, whether or not they use it.

    How are you going build around a player who doesn’t have a mid range or float game, can’t go left beyond a step back 3 ball going that way, and can’t finish through contact when she actually drives to her right. If y’all want it to be the Indiana Hawkeyes just say that. It’s Jimmer Fredette all over again, an electric scorer in College at BYU who couldn’t do much in the league when the athleticism caught up with his game and he couldn’t adapt.

  • @rap3208

    @rap3208

    Ай бұрын

    @@johntrelthomas841 She has a midrange but metrics dictate you can score bigger when you shoot 3s even if you have a lower percentage at it. That is the reason 2 point shots are a rarity in NBA, management and coaching now would rather have them shoot 3s than longs 2 becuase all the experts did the math and that is what it said. - shoot 3s rather than long 2s, that is why players stepping back became a thing these last 6 years or so.

I would just ask the vets to not strive to put Caitlin in the hospital because you don't like her. I hear she's a very nice person...give her a chance to at least survive your style of play. The real problem we have with current & former WNBA players is simple. All of the former & current jealous & hateful players, are angry at her because they're comparing their skill & their legacy in the league, with her popularity in the world, & her being able to cash in on that popularity as she should & has. Bottom line is, she's the most popular athlete on the planet right now in any sport & it's not even close. And no doubt, she will go down as one of the greatest players to play the game as well, as long as she stays healthy. Because she has a high basketball IQ & few can shoot the rock like she can. And she's a great passer too. She does it all. Even legendary NBA players are admitting that. So even though shallow, superficial & carnal people want to make it about being black or white, it's really about what's wrong or right in the human soul when we don't get what we believe we should get, & what others should not get because we believe that...

    Sense to me like that all these ladies this speaking against Kaitlyn Clark are just jealous. That’s all it is is jealousy and some of these players are washed up and need to go home and let the new people come in.

    For the haters that say CC is struggling. First 3 games CC stats 2nd in the league in assist , 22nd in rebounds , 7th in points ,tied for 1st in free throws, 1st in 3 pointers made,13th in field goals and her player EFF ranks 18th.

    What any sports venue need to survive are white fans. In order do that a white player has to really stand out among their peers. Caitlin Clark is such a player and more. There is nothing racist about this it's the truth. She is a generational athlete I could play with my grandkids and ask them who the highest scorer in college basketball history and that would be Caitlin Clark
