This was a GREAT game for CC to learn more about her ability to actually control the outcome of a game. She's learning the various ability levels and dynamics of her teammates in different situations, which will eventually allow her to actually manage this team herself, from the floor. There is no guidance coming from the sidelines for most of the game and soon CC will learn to take charge at the same time the ball is in her hands.

Same here kabayan, never really been following WNBA games, except to keep tabs with the standings...but cc22 changed that for me..she is the most exciting player to watch..NBA or WNBA..except perhaps for Steph and jokic..

Sides timeouts that were called worked to help Washington, they were called when the Fever had momentum and saved Washingon from burning theirs. Resulting in a Washington win.

I watched the whole game. Christie Sides is responsible for the loss. Wheeler should not play. Samuelson played too many minutes. Ehy did she start? Hull needs to start and have more minutes than Samuelson. Sides made poor decisions the whole game, especially in the last 2 minutes. Why was the last shot set up for Mitchell, who was missing most of her 3's. Clark had 5 threes. The last shot should have been hers. This was a very big loss for the Fever. It just shows how poor of a coach Sides is. She really needs to be replaced.

THIS. ABSOLUTELY, THIS. Sides made the wrong call with the starters. Hull and Dantas can do incredible things when they sub in at critical times, but they haven't built the chemistry with the starters to contribute from the start.

Lexie Hull needs to be playing at least 30 minutes per game at this point.

Boston was a no show, offensively, this game. Mitchell, 0-9. Add, overall team defensive letdown, and that led to this loss.

I was super proud of CC in this game because THAT is what generational players do. They see their team losing badly and they can't just sit by and watch. Classic.

Huge let down spot for them after the Liberty win. Christie Sides and the coaching staff need to learn how to get the hungry and super focused in these spots. Let downs are a very, very real thing in sports after big wins. Championship teams can learn how to stay focused in spots like that but it MUST start with the coach. There's no kicking back after BIG wins EVER!

I didn't see the game but with 29 points and 13 assists she was responsible for 55 to 68 points. OMGoodness CC is lights out baby.

Christie Sides had only one job today... just one job. Her only job was to put her players in a position to be successful, and she failed. Caitlin Clark gave them a chance. Christie F-ing Sides still shows she doesn't trust Caitlin on defense, and Caitlin had possibly her best defensive game today, yet Sides puts Wheeler in, only for Wheeler to pick up that stupid foul. The Fever were only down 3 when this happened. All the Fever needed to do was get one more stop and give themselves a chance to tie the game. Just one stop. She took the ball out of Caitlin's hands with that decision. This game could've gone to overtime, and Washington was already tired of chasing Caitlin around all quarter. They had a shot, and Sides's lack of trust in Caitlin's defense became their downfall.

Even the female announcer said the Fever play best when CC has the ball and AB is there to play off her. She wondered why they weren't playing that at the start. When CC had the ball, the announcer said this was what she was talking about. She also gave credit to Hull in the 4th quarter with helping to turnaround the game with her defense.

I was screaming because they were NOT running enough. Way to go CC!

2 games in a row Lexi Kicked butt in the 4th quarter. CC decided to take FULL CONTROL in the 4th.

"The 4:25 mark of the third quarter was pivotal for both Fever forward Aliyah Boston and Mystics forward Stefanie Dolson. Officials called a defensive foul on Dolson as Boston was going in for a layup, and that would have been Dolson's fourth. But the Mystics challenged the call, as Boston elbowed Dolson in the face while going for the shot. Every game CC makes history of some kind. Congrats to her. Once she’s partnered up with a coach who understands her she will be unbeatable.

No one can possible that dumb! In what reality, with the game on the line, do you put your best player on the bench? Sides has done this time after time and it hasn't yet yielded a positive outcome. This notion that Clark is weak defensively is simply moronic. She had 5 steals and 3 blocked shots today and she's a very good rebounder. SIDES is Begging to be FIREF🚓 The GM & owner just twiddle their thumbs!!! Is she getting paid to drop games? Just asking🤷🏻‍♀️

What is extremely disconcerting and telling is when Sides was asked why she made the lineup change and the only answer she defiantly gave was no answer at all. It was just *_Her Decision_* and "that's where we'll leave it." So not even "paying" fans deserve to hear a reason? Guess not. She didn't understand a question and the biggest tell was, "we're Always going to look to play in and out." *_Always._* What! She's got to be kidding. That's the problem right there. Calling a time out when Caitlin had the ball in her hands. Then not touching it again. A play drawn up for Mitchell instead of Caitlin is beyond unbelievable but coming from this coach, not surprising. Imo she was absolutely livid that Caitlin took over the game. I believe she did not want it to be Caitlin for the win. It was clear as night and day. Those moves speaks volumes that Sides really isn't using a winning strategy, especially in late game situations. Where's the GM in all this? Is the front office that uncaring and wilfully ignorant? Guess so.

I would love to see the Indiana fans have huge protests outside arena and headquarters to Fire, Dunn, Sides and whole coaching staff. Keep the pressure on until it happens. If it doesn't pull their monetary support.

That was a brutal game. Sides cannot stick to a lineup. CC was hot and Sides set up a play for 0-8 Mitchell. Mitchell lost her confidence early in that game. Every time Mitchell got the ball from Caitlin, she was looking to pass the ball. Dantas not ready for prime time. Stop taking CC out of the game at the end and replace with a defensive player that is just as bad. CC had 5 open looks for 3's in the last quarter she passed up. 2 of them she threw away. One should have been a foul on the defense.

Caitlin Clark put up 29 points, 13 assists, five rebounds and five steals. Indiana shot 53% from the floor and the Fever lost WTF is it with the way that coach runs that team, missed layups, dropped passes, missed open 2pt and 3pt shoots, what do they run in practice - you have a hot passer, throwing to dead hands, you have a hot passer going for easy layups that are missed, a hot passer that gives the shooter open 2pt and 3pt that they miss.

That was a MONSTER GAME for CC for sure. If you break down her numbers, that is one of the more impressive overall set of numbers you will see - in particular for a young player. Wow. I hope the Fever franchise will step up.

THE PACE. Indiana somehow started playing half court sets and didn't run until the fourth. That IS ALL BAD COACHING!

Ben you nailed it again, once again Sides did not have this team prepared today even though they had three days to get ready. They knew Ariel killed them last time and she did it again. I put this lost on the coach because the team just looked flat and unprepared with any strategy to defend Ariel . This game was bad. And Smith refuses to go get the ball when it’s coming towards her. Her feet are stuck in cement and her brain freezes. She allowed Ariel to jump in front of her after the jump ball when the game was on the line.

You can bet that CC will be punished in some way for that fourth quarter mutiny. I guess taking the ball away from her was a start.

The same is true in the United States. We too are only watching because of Caitlin Clark.

I know there are coach/team issues and I agree Clark is great. BUT I feel Clark has become conflicted between being an assist generator or the STAR of this team. There were times in 1st 3qtrs where she should have not passed to a partially open player but should SHOOT the ball. If she played like the STAR that she is there would not be a 21 point deficit in the 4th. I'm frustrated!!!!

Lexie Hull helped enormously in the 4th quarter. 4:50 spot on.

I agree. But Sides is a terrible coach. You are right!! Poor decisions that lost the game. CC was outstanding.

Can't shoot (not even a layup hardly) no jumper, no post moves, isn't dominant defensively in the paint. But she's one helluva rebounder, I'll absolutely give her that.

CC saved Christie Sides’s ass in the last game when she had that and one three-point play to cut it to three and then dish that wide-open shot to Mitchell to tie the game with a three-pointer. Sides Is constantly sabotaging this team by not making CC the focal point until CC decides to do it herself in the fourth-quarter today amazingly almost coming back from a 21 point deficit. She’s got the easiest coaching job in the world just needing to run pick and roll or a double pick and rolls with CC to automatically get CC or her teammates open and she can’t even do that right because she refuses to give CC any credit for turning this franchise around cause of her jealous ego.

This pretty much it.

I don’t blame Sides for the loss. The lack of rebounding and missed inside shots. What Sides is responsible for is maybe the chosen lineup. But the missed inside shots, and allowing the Washington Lesbians to get 2nd and 3rd shots off was the difference.

Caitlin accounted for 18 of the points that brought the Fever into a position to win, and SIDES SAT HER OUT AT THAT POINT. WTF?????

When they pulled Smith out of the starting lineup eliminated the ability of AB and CC to do their ball screens. Totally took the offense out of their rhythm. They pick CC up full court, and no stagger screens, or off ball plays called for her. What kind of coaching is this??? Terrible....Sides needs to go. How does Sides not know how to run this offense??? She needs to go back and watch some Iowa WBB games and see how they won, and mimic that!!!!

Christie Sides, "We need to work on defense" So isn't it her JOB to coach her players on defense in practice? It sure doesn't show in the game.
