I've been living in Lleida, formerly Ilerda, for years. Major works had been made in early 1900s in order to prevent floods of the Segre (formerly Sicoris) river to the city, but I remember the last floods in 1982 with a dead toll of 14 people. The river had been a natural protection to the city, just as many other roman cities, but also a logistics way to transport things up and down and a source of prosperity. Totally recommend visiting the city! Great graphics!!

Excellent! Can't wait for part three. As I was born and raised in Ilerda (nowadays Lleida), this description is far more interesting and accurate that a "single battle" between Caesarians and Pompeians we've been taught at scool. The crossing bridge at north matches with the city of Balaguer, where a strong defensive place is still visible. There was the "pont de Sant Miquel" (Saint Michael bridge), destroyed during the spanish civil war. Floods of Sicoris (Segre) river were usual until early 1900's when a dam was built by a canadian company. The last floods of Segre river happened in 1982, and covered part of the lower side of the city. Saw it when I was a child. The bridge at Lleida was so important that an entire garrison was permanently placed at the opposite part of the river, and in later years the city grew up that way, creating the "Cap Pont" neighborhood, which literally means "bridgehead". Visiting Lleida/Ilerda is strongly recommended to review roman, medieval and modern history and arquitecture. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lleida

There’s been a lot of these historic battle recreation videos as of late. My 2 favourite have been BazBattles and Kings and Generals. I can confidently say you are by far the best content creator in this genre, as you dive much more in-depth into a battle than other channels. Your story telling is exciting and engaging, the 3D animations are incredible, and you can’t help but get into the perspective of Caesar. It’s such a shame that your not posting more regularly as I can see you easily go over 500K subscribers. Might I suggest some click baits to boost your numbers by making some game of thrones battle re-creation. Please let me know if you start a GoFundMe campaign as if be more than happy to contribute for such incredible quality of work.
