Used with permission from Walton Music.This is from the choir's winning performance of the Fleischmann International Trophy at the recent Cork International Choral Festival.The text is Old English, and is the earliest surviving English poem. It praises God's creation; attributed to an illiterate cowherd (possibly a legend), the mid-7th century poem offers a glimpse into Anglo-Saxon beliefs and remains a powerful testament to faith.
