Wow! Great video. Very interesting to see the sidecars with the fairings removed, they are curious machines indeed. I would love to see something explaining the chassis nuances and engine mods available to the teams . . . Thank you for your videos.

I doubt that any team would want to give that information away! As an old sidecar racer (retired now) I will tell you that the rear and chair wheels do not point in the directions that you would expect them to, the chair wheel toe's in and has some camber, the rear can be set to toe out and also has camber, the idea of toeing the rear out is that it pushes the rear wheel outwards which puts the front wheels tracking line more in the middle of the rear and chair wheels tracking line, it turns that outfit into more of a trike setup whilst as far as the scrutineers are concerned the front and rear wheels appear to track on the same line, go to far with this and the outfit will want to lose the backend and spin out in left handers. Generally you would set the chain side of the rear wheel to run about 5 degrees hotter than the other side. An infrared thermometer is key to setting up the wheels.
